YOU WILL NEED: Flexible afghan hook,

size H-8 (5mm) or size to obtain gauge

Crochet hook, size H-8 (5mm) or size to obtain gauge

GAUGE:Over afghan ripple pat,one ripple = 2¾" (7cm)Exact gauge is essential for your project to be proper size. As you begin your project, make asample swatch per the instructions counting your stitches and rowscarefully. If your swatch is larger or smaller than specified, change the hook size and make anotherswatch to get the correct gauge.Keep trying until you find the hook size that will give you the specified gauge.

STITCH GUIDE: Chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc)Afghan Ripple Stitch:Note: This stitch is completed intwo halves (referred to as one rowin instructions). In the first half,leave all lps on hook; in the returnrow, work lps off. Do not turn workthroughout. First Half of Row 1: Keeping all lpson hook, * sk dec, draw up lp ineach of next 7 lps, draw up lp ineach ch of ch-4, draw up lp in eachof next 7 lps; rep from * across row,end draw up lp over last dec.Return Row: Rep Return Row.Rep Row 1 and Return Row for pat.To finish, sl st in each bar across.DIRECTIONS:Note: When changing colors, workReturn Row through last dec, dropold color, yo with new color andcomplete ch-1.
