The HKPF-105 is an HD A/V multiplexer board to combine AES/EBUdigital audio signal with HD SDI signal. The HKPF-106 is an HD A/Vdemultiplexer board to split AES/EBU digital audio signal from HD SDI.

Both of them provide an uncompressed, 10-bit, digital componentSMPTE-292M HD serial data stream with a bit rate of 1.5 Gbps.Both is supported by ISR system for diagnosis and error monitoring.The HKPF-105 and HKPF-106 are designed to be accommodated inthe PFV-HD300/HD50A HD digital interface unit. Power foroperation of these two boards is supplied from the interface unit.

The HKPF-105 and HKPF-106 structure and power supply voltageare the same as those of all other boards designed for use in thePFV-HD300 and PFV-HD50A Digital Interface Unit. These boardsmay be installed in either interface unit in any combination and usedsimultaneously, allowing a highly flexible system.

• Four channels of digital AES/EBU audio can be de-multiplexed into one HD SDI signal. With an additionalof another HKPF-106 board up to eight channels ofdigital AES/EBU audio can be de-multiplexed by useof the Cascade connection.

• BNC connector for HD SDI with embedded digitalaudio input, two BNCs for HD SDI video output , andtwo BNCs for two pairs of AES/EBU (4-channel audio)outputs.

• Grouped audio outputs of 1 to 4-CH or 5 to 8-CHselectable.

• Channel pair for audio output interchangeable—1/2-CH, 3/4-CH or 5/6-CH, 7/8-CH.

• Auto equalizing function enables HD SDI transmissionup to 100 m through a single coaxial cable (5C-FB orPD-3079 COOPER RG-6/U).

• Automatic detection of field frequency (59.94 or 60.00Hz).

• Automatic detection of Active line (1080 or 1035).• Support of ISR (Interactive Status Reporting).
