40,000 BTU/HR Model SRB40 Provides Fuel Efficient,Radiant Gas Heat For A Variety Of Poultry Applications.
3-Year Limited Warranty On Complete Emitter Assembly 4 Control Options To Fit Your Individual Need Factory Pre-Assembled Components For Quick Installation
The Original Radiant Gas BrooderSpace-Ray designed the original radiant gas brooder for usein Europe over 40 years ago. Our emphasis was then, as it istoday, on quality and fuel efficient performance. Performanceyou can rely on. When it comes to productreliability and fuel efficient operation, Space-Ray Radiant Gas Brooders have withstoodthe test of time.
Unique 60° Emitter Angle Puts MoreRadiant Heat Into Primary Brood AreaNo other radiant gas brooder can providemore radiant heat to the floor of your poultryhouse than Space-Ray. Our speciallydesigned 60°emitter angle, combined withour deep dish canopy, produces an optimumheat pattern in the primary brood area. Thislarge radiant heat pattern means that fewerbrooders are required in each house resultingin fuel savings.

Enclosed insulation will not crumble ordistort. Designed to withstand the tough
operating conditions found in poultry houses. The unit features a 3-year limited warranty.

using the same principle as the sun. Before heating the air, radiant warmth is delivered directly to the birds and litter areawhere it's needed most. This radiant warmth helps to dry
out the litter area and keep ammonia levelslower. It also creates a thermal reservoirwhich stores the heat and maintains awarmer litter area. This radiant heat transfermethod results in fuel savings which willcontinue year after year.
Fully Insulated, Enclosed EmitterAssembly For Durability & Efficiency
Space-Ray's stainless steel emitter assemblyis fully insulated and enclosed so theinsulation will not crumble or distort in thetough operating conditions normally found inpoultry houses. This exclusive design not onlyprovides durability but also prevents heat lossback through the emitter that can occur overtime. This results in higher radiant output andcontinued energy efficiency that translatesinto annual fuel savings.
FORCED AIR SYSTEM
Radiant heat helps keep the litter area dryand warms the birds directly, saving fuel.
Space heaters force the heated airto the upper areas of the house first,
then to the floor area

CONTROL NO. 2For single or multi-zone installations using central or multiple thermostats. This 24 volt AC zone type control can also operate using a 12 volt DC inverter as a backup. Thegas valve includes a built-in regulator. A 24 volt power supply is required. Zone control panel (Part No. 4361905) and/or 24 volt thermostat, computer or environmentalcontroller is required. 100% gas safety shut-off valve.
CONTROL NO. 3A modulating type HI/LO control with integral thermostat. No electrical supply is needed. Upon call for heat, valve will open from pilot to low fire (32,000 BTU/Hr.) andmodulate between low and high fire as necessary to maintain desired temperature setting. When thermostat has been satisfied, valve will modulate down to low fire and thendrop to pilot. 100% gas safety shut-off valve. Available only for use with propane gas.
CONTROL NO. 5 (DSI)A 3-try direct spark ignition control for single or multi-zone installations. Gas valve includes a built-in regulator. A 24 volt power supply is required. Zone control panel (PartNo. 4361905) and/or 24 volt thermostat, computer or environmental controller is required. For individual control, a unique thermostat (Part No. 43317050) is available.
CONTROL NO. 9An individual, non-electric, fully automatic On/Off control with integral thermostat which operates on millivolts generated by the pilot - no electrical supply needed. Integralthermostat features a wide temperature range for easy adjustment. 100% gas safety shut-off valve.

SRB40EZ PILOT IGNITION CONTROL OPTIONS
DSI Model Can Save UpTo5.8 Gallons Of Propane Per DayThe Space-Ray DSI brooder saves fuel that would normally be usedfor the pilot. Fuel that’s currently used 24 hours a day, even when thereis no call for heat. In fact, a broiler house with 14 brooders can useover 5.8 gallons of fuel each 24 hour period for just the pilot.
Zone Control Panel (Accessory) For use with No. 2 and No. 5 control type brooders. Provides 24 voltpower supply for operation of up to 4 zones and 40 brooders. Includes 24 volt transformer and batteryconnections for emergency DC operation as an option. Operational monitoring lights are standard.
