Mechanical Feeders After serving the glass industry for half a century, the mechanical feeder is proving to be a very reliable machine still up to present date.

FeaturesThe improved feeder suits high-speed operation, ensuring smooth running and featuring light weight plunger carrier. The rigid design of casted supporting frame incorporates linear ball bearings for the plunger supporting shaft. Strenghtened plunger guide features lateral guided rollers to ensure minimal back lash during plunger up and down movement. Three different shear blade stroke are available by the three yoke point of the connecting link. Inverted drop guide to ensure consistent gob guidance.

and plunger lowest position (7”max stroke)• Chucks can be provided in single, twin and triple configuration
SpoutFour different casing are available:
• 281 standard (7” deep and 18” wide)• 281 deep (10” deep and 18” wide)• 703 (11-5/8” deep and 22” wide)• 715 (13” deep and 24” wide)
Shear mechanism • Light weight aluminium alloy arms• Shears are air spring actuated, movement profile is granted by the relevant cam by means of calibrated linkage and rod• Sturdy oil bath gear to reduce maintenance frequency• Adjustable blade tensioning and cutting position• Adjustable blades over lapping• Shearing angle can be jigged from 30° right to 90° left• S.G, D.G and T.G variables are available

RTC - Revolving Tube Control RTC is the system to control rotation of the revolving tube sleeve.
• Clockwise and counterclockwise rotation• Tube speed adjustable from 0 rpm to 10 rpm. Resolution 2/100 rev.• Power supply: 200÷240 VAC single-phase ±10 % 50/60 Hz• Digital counter for easy speed adjustable• Operating temperature: from -10°C to +55°C• The system may be installed on any kind of existing feeder revolving tube

THD - Tube Height Driver THD is used for the electrical position adjustment of the feeder revolving tube The running mode are:
• AUTO: equipment can be interfaced with any of the automatic gob weighting system available on the market• MANUAL: operator adjust the position of the slave by mean of “up” and “down” switches
Features The THD system is composed as follows:
• Control panel: 1.1 Kw power, supply, immediate stop circuit.• A.C. motor gearbox• Box for motor cut off and pushbutton to reset the drive status• Engage the gearbox
Technical Features • Stop circuit• Control of two limits switches for the min. and max. adjustment points of the revolving tube height• Control of the immediate stop status of the revolving tube• Digital display of tube height• Engage the gearbox
