DIGITAL FOR ALL, NOW! 2014 saw the successful implementation of the major building and consolidation measures of our Mutation 2013-2017 strategic plan.
By completing the alliance between Econocom and Osiatis, we have built a new European provider of digital solutions. With the creation of Digital Dimension, we have stepped up our development in the B2B cloud-based solutions market, and we launched Econocom Digital Finance Ltd. to give us the means to offer our clients financing models for the most innovative contracts featuring digital assets at the forefront of the digital revolution. Meanwhile, we successfully implemented our international expansion, helping our clients deploy their digital transformation in the countries they operate in.
Our business model has already proven its effectiveness, enabling us to complete our clients’ projects and address their digital requirements successfully, however large or complex they are.
The entrepreneurial vision of our businesses and our values guide us every day in everything we undertake and are at the very core of our corporate social commitment.
As a major, committed player in the digital tsunami that is descending on our economies, we are convinced that the progress offered by digital technology should be deployed as widely as possible across public and private organisations, now. Our creativity, skills, and our new alliance models are major assets that will enable us to design, finance and oversee our clients’ digital transformation. This transformation will help them become stronger today and win tomorrow.
The group’s mutation is well underway. 2015 will take us even further, because digital – our core business – is unquestionably a driver for growth and progress for our clients, for our clients’ clients and employees, for our markets and for Econocom.
Kind regards,
Jean-Louis Bouchard,Chairman

AGILE AND RESPONSIVEDigital generates and requires new collaborative approaches and a more flexible, mobile organisation. In order to face both these challenges and those of the Mutation strategic plan, we revised our organisation in September 2014. More efficient, agile and responsive, we are building an exciting dynamic for exchanges and synergies, both internally, between business lines, and externally, with our clients, partners and the entrepreneurs we support.

Our vision is our manifesto
DIGITAL FOR ALL, NOW!We created the “Digital for All, Now!” movement in 2014 because we firmly believe that it’s time to bridge the digital divide between the private and public spheres. The progress offered by digital technology should be deployed as soon as possible across businesses and organisations!
To support this movement, we have set up a forum for sharing successes and experiences: www.digitalforallnow.comA number of “digital makers” talk about their motivation, their approach and the benefits of digital in their business. With over 45,000 visits in the 4th quarter 2014 and two awards* for its creative and technical excellence, digitalforallnow.com is a showcase for the progress generated by digital technology.
A disruptive media campaign in FranceLaunched at the end of August 2014, our communication campaign was directly inspired by the posters during the May ’68 student uprisings in France, a youth movement which brought about a profound, long-term change in society. It’s an inspiration to us, as we want to show that, where digital is concerned, there’s a discrepancy between organisations and private use. We wanted to make an impression with a hard-hitting message, but in a good-humoured, slightly tongue-in-cheek way. We want to unite people and spur them into action. With this press campaign in France, we launched a movement that is still going strong today.

IT’S TIME TO SPEED UP THE DEPLOYMENT OF DIGITAL PROGRESS ACROSS ORGANISATIONSThe digital adventure is only just beginning!
Yet whilst the digital experience is already well underway in terms of individual use, it is still in the early stages as far as organisations (companies, government bodies, local authorities, etc.) are concerned. This is the new frontier in this vast economic and social transformation, and pushing back this frontier will radically change – in a positive way – the way we work in our economies.
But the digital wave is both an opportunity that must be seized and a challenge to be faced. Organisations need to address their employees’ and clients’ needs and grasp this new situation, although it brings with it a number of questions and fears which could inhibit its development.
Taking advantage of the digital revolution requires a great deal of creativity and inventive solutions: it means finding the right approach, being realistic and bold. It’s as much about adopting a certain attitude as having technical and financial expertise. It’s an entrepreneurial attitude.
“We help our clients benefit from the progress offered by the digital revolution, now.”
Our vision is our manifesto

VALUES THAT GUIDE AND SUPPORT US
Like all companies, we benefit from resources provided by our local authority: infrastructures, education, justice, healthcare, research, security, etc. Our purpose is to create wealth by exploring new markets and new approaches for our products and services, and redistribute it to the community.
For us, BE ENTERPRISINGmeans supporting those who are enterprising and encouraging initiative. The more enterprising we are, the more challenges we meet. Our strength lies in our ability to BOUNCE BACK from difficulties and failures, learn from them and turn them into opportunities. We also firmly believe that being enterprising requires both constantly identifying our clients’ expectations and market changes, and profound self-knowledge.Thus we can plan ahead, decide and act with the courage to face reality.FACE REALITY is about being curious, finding out, learning and listening so we can assess situations and make decisions more effectively.
In order to achieve the objectives of the Mutation plan, we must BUILD TOGETHER: we’re living in a world of cooperation: cooperation between employees, and with clients and partners.
We also claim individual and collective responsibility for everything we undertake. BE RESPONSIBLE means being committed and accepting the consequences of our actions with clients, suppliers, staff and the community.
Lastly, RESPECT is what makes Econocom stronger and more attractive. Respect for others and for ourselves; the respect we strive to have and the respect we inspire in others. Respect for the environment and diversity, for our promises and commitments. It’s the respect we inspire through the skills we each have in our particular field, through our courage, creativity and our ability to anticipate. All our employees are concerned, because winning or losing is down to each and every one of us.
Our vision is our manifesto

OUR INNOVATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ARE SPEEDING UP OUR CLIENTS’ DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
Econocom-Osiatis is a major service provider that oversees European companies’ digital transformation. With its combined expertise in infrastructures (IT governance and security, consultancy and integration, cloud transformation, outsourcing, maintenance) and applications (digitalisation, new usages, collaboration, mobile solutions, Big Data, etc.) our substantial Services division gives us the capabilities we need to successfully implement our clients’ digital projects.
To help organisations leverage the power of digital and take full advantage of its opportunities, we offer services that span the entire lifecycle of infrastructures and applications (design, build, run, transform). Our expertise covers data centres, end-user environments, including new devices and connected devices, networks and applications. We have considerably developed our skills in the field of data centres and the cloud, security, the Internet of Things, and, since taking over Comiris’s operations in August 2014, unified communications and multimedia. Thanks to our positions and successes, we are the second best outsourcer in Belgium and Luxembourg1.
With over 7, 000 employees, Econocom-Osiatis posted 4% organic growth in the last quarter of 2014, which is a testament to the success of our strategy.
This positive trend means we can begin 2015 on a firm foundation and continue to develop our multi-activity model in strategic countries,(particularly in Benelux, Italy, Spain and France) and in key markets such as security, infrastructure and network consulting, integration, the Internet of Things and mobile business solutions. We hope thus to consolidate our position at the forefront of the digital transformation of businesses and public services.
A successful year!

THE “MARKET PLACE” FOR B2B DIGITAL SOLUTIONS
In January 2014, we joined forces with Georges Croix to set up Digital Dimension to design and implement a marketplace for B2B digital solutions and a business app store, accessible in plug & play mode.
Digital Dimension covers several areas of expertise, three of which came via acquisitions made in 2014: Rayonnance (a business-to-business mobile solutions specialist), ASP Serveur (a leading provider of business-to-business public and private cloud hosting solutions) and Aragon e-RH (a software vendor specialising in cloud-based HRIS solutions that address the full spectrum of a company’s HR needs). The two others come from entities previously owned by Econocom Group: Econocom Telecom Services (ETS) and Tactem, which together cover mobile services (integration, roll-out, multi-OS mobile device management and maintenance) and telecoms (Telecom Expense Management for corporate accounts).
Digital Dimension is a digital specialist, with a strategy that focuses on end clients’ uses and service performance and quality. It has the in-house capabilities to deliver every aspect of its offering, from design and development to implementation and operations for business solutions for its own infrastructures. Digital Dimension offers innovative, end-to-end solutions to address all its clients’ requirements.

PROMOTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP WITHIN OUR ECOSYSTEM Entrepreneurship is one of our key values, and a quality we actively encourage. Building a growth model for the group that includes new collaborative approaches with the best digital talents, both within and outside the group, is central to our “Mutation” 2013/2017 strategic plan and enables us to foster the creativity and initiative we need to successfully implement our clients’ digital projects.
Econocom: supporting entrepreneurship with Partech VenturesAfter investing in Partech Entrepreneur I in 2013, we were actively involved in digitalising the Partech Shaker building in 2014 as Technological Partner. We also became, along with other leading corporate partners*, a Corporate Innovation Partner of the Partech Shaker. In 2015, Econocom consolidated its partnership with Partech Ventures by taking part in Europe’s biggest digital startup fund: Partech Entrepreneur II, thus confirming our commitment to entrepreneurship and digital innovation. Partech Entrepreneur is Europe’s most active seed fund, with 26 investments made in 18 months.
This decision to support digital startups is a powerful, concrete illustration of Econocom’s values. For the past few years, we have been working on building technology and business synergies with young entrepreneurs. This involves collaborating on major RFPs which they would not be able to tender for alone, and sharing managerial best practices to enable them to consolidate their growth platform.

Econocom: a partner of “Club Open Innovation” since 2013With the Club Open Innovation, we identify innovative solutions developed by startups and give them the opportunity to add them to our portfolio of offerings. In 2014, the products of three startups, discovered through the Club Open Innovation, were incorporated into our Digital Center (showcase for digital solutions).Econocom also took part in three speed-networking events in 2014.
Partnership with the digital startup accelerator sponsored by EPITA: StartUp 42Since 2013, Econocom has supported “Startup42”, a startup accelerator that promotes innovative digital projects developed by students at EPITA engineering school and young external entrepreneurs. After the success of the first two groups, the third group of startups were selected in in March 2014 by a jury of which Econocom was a member. The 2014 group then came to our headquarters in Puteaux to present their projects and convince our teams to look into possible partnerships.
