LP (www.dadlp.com), an affiliate of Driftwood Hospitality Management,

development of over 100 hotels.

Congress created the EB-5 Program in 1990 to stimulate the
U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by
foreign investors. It works by linking U.S. businesses looking to
raise capital with foreign investors seeking a U.S. visa, creating a
“win-win-win” scenario.
Funds Requirement The minimum investment required to qualify for EB-5 status is
$500,000. USCIS is very strict about reviewing the legitimacy of
funds. Investments made through the U.S. EB-5 program must
be “at risk”, there is no guaranteed financial return.
Employment creation requirementThe business in which you invest must ultimately employ at least
ten full-time workers. One advantage of investing in a regional
center like ours is that it can count “indirect” jobs created by
businesses that service the main business, as shown by economic
models.

START Investor retains inmigration attorney who vets investor funds and paperwork for eligibility.
MONTH 1
Eligible Investor subscribes to EB-5 qualified project and deposits minimum required at risk investment of $500,000 into escrow account and pays administrative fee.Investor’s inmigration attorney prepares and files I-526 petition to USCIS.
MONTH 1-15
USCIS reviews I-526 Petition.If Petition is accepted, Investor receives “conditional” Green Card for 2 years while job creation is verified, $500,000 stays at risk.If Petition is denied, $500,000 is returned to Investor,
YEAR 2-3Approved Investor and immediate family members are able to live, work and travel anywhere in the U.S. without restrictions with conditional Green Card.
YEAR 3-490 days prior to expiration of conditional Green Card, attor-ney files I-829 petition to remove conditions based on job creation confirmation through project and regional center.
YEAR 4-5 Investor receives permanent Green Card after approval of I-829 petition.
YEAR 5Investor is returned the $500,000 at risk investment or can choose to convert equity in the same project or in a new project with the company.
