tólico o que tienen allí una imagen de la Vir-gen de Guadalupe o de otros Santos Católicos. También puede ser que el pastor se viste como sacerdote y que allí dan ‘Misas’. Nada de esto garantiza que son Católicos verdaderos en comunión con el Papa Francisco.

FIRST PASTORAL VISIT OF ARCHBISHOP GOMEZ TO OUR PARISH

A rchbishop Gomez enjoyed his visit to Holy Innocents

this past Tuesday. He offered Mass for our school children, our faculty and their families. After Mass, he was delighted by a play beautifully performed by the chil-dren about Venerable Mother Luisita. She was the saintly foundress of the Carmelite Sisters who for a time in 1927 became a parishioner here before she even-tually returned to Mexico.

FR. BRIAN MULLADY, O.P., the well known Domini-can preacher and teacher, will be conducting an Advent Mis-sion at Holy Innocents Decem-ber 1-6.

The mission theme will be PREPARING YOUR SOUL FOR THE BIRTH OF CHRIST. Fr. Brian will ad-dress the growth in grace and prayer as a part of the neces-sary spiritual preparation for a holy Christmas. He will be preaching at all the English Masses December 1-2. Beginning Monday, December 3, he will offer Mass at 7:00 p.m., give a conference and be available for Con-fession.

D uring the month of November, Mass is offered each day for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. If you’d

like to include your dearly departed loved ones in these Masses, you may obtain a special envelope at the office or sacristy on which you may list the names of your de-ceased loved ones. Each day this month the Mass will be offered for the eternal repose of their souls.
