Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn is one of the five municipality* of New York. It´s in south-east. It was found in 1635 from some Dutchmen**.It calls Brooklyn because the town near Utrecht (it´s a big town near Amsterdam) calls Breukelen.

Some of the Brooklyn sights are “Brooklyn Bridge“, “Brooklyn Museum of Art“, “Brooklyn Botanic Garden“ and the theme park “Coney Island“. “Coney Island” is a very big theme park, but the mostfamous sight is “Brooklyn Bridge”.

Brooklyn Bridge

The famous bridge is one of the first suspension bridges* in the USA. It was much longer than the other bridges (50% more). It is 8 kilometres long. The bridge was build in 1869 and on the 24.5.1883 it was opened. It goes from Brooklyn to Manhattan and it has 6 lanes**.
