There is plenty to keep a family busy from hiking,riding horses, swimming, hunting, and fishing for large and small bass. Living here would be easy.It is only 18 minutes to Safeway or restaurants in Ukiah. It is half the distance I live from town. Livingor retiring here would be a dream come true. STRUCTURES The barn is about 3,700 ft on the ground and has a second story. It is tired, butvery salvageable. It is full of stuff and some of it should be burned. The Garage below the house is about 24 ft. by 36 ft. or 864 sq. ft. Electricity was once connectedto it. It has water from the lake piped to it. It could be set up for a caretaker if you decided youwanted one. It could also be a great skinning shed and meat processing room. The creek behind itruns all year, even in a drought. Just before you come to it on the Main Rd., on your right is thefoundation of an old structure. VIEWS Close and distant mountains, and the lake from almost every room. More than nice. In thewinter you can see snow capped mountains to the east. TERRAIN if you want a hobby vineyard or orchard there is room near the house and lake.THE SOLAR SYSTEM is a Xantrex which is a long time solar manufacturer. WILDLIFE Abundant. Quail, turkeys, grouse, fox, raccoons, turtles, ducks, deer, pigs plus anoccasional bear or mountain lion. And of course four horses and one colt. Rattle snakes are herebut you will find fewer of them here than near town. The reason seems to be that pigs eat them. TREES My guess is in order of number, fir, bay, oak & madrone. Timber was harvested here about1970. The fir value is very low now but as the economy comes back a crop could be harvested. WATER/LAKE Without it you are toast. This ranch has a huge amount of it. The lake seems tostay at its present level, even in a drought year. Rainfall was about 50% of normal in 2012. There isa 5,000 gallon storage system for the drinking water. I have 2,700 gallon system which I think is alot. The lake is about 80 yards by 130 yards. We do not know how deep it is. Ducks and turtles likeit.
