Next Level Urgent Care Supports Fort Bend Community, Sponsors “Body Carnival” at Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land
Interactive Exhibit Provides Unique Opportunity to Explore How Human Bodies Function Houston (May 16, 2014) – The Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land and presenting local sponsor Next Level Urgent Care today opened the Body Carnival summer exhibition, running from May 16 to August 24, 2014. Body Carnival is a carnival-‐themed exhibit that gives children and adults alike a unique opportunity to explore how their bodies work in a fun, interactive way. Visitors will enjoy 18 stations ranging from crawling through a giant artery to see and hear the effects of restricted blood flow; testing their balance in the 10-‐foot Dizzy Tunnel; and using a pair of vision-‐distorting goggles to discover how sight affects their ability to walk straight. “With the grand support provided by Next Level Urgent Care, HMNS at Sugar Land is excited to bring this special exhibition to people of all ages,” said Adrienne Barker, director of the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land. ”The show provides magical interactive amusement through fun and play-‐-‐all while learning how your body functions.” As the presenting sponsor, Next Level Urgent Care will deliver presentations on a variety of health-‐related topics at special events, such as The Doctor is In, held throughout the duration of the exhibit. With four clinics in Fort Bend County, Next Level Urgent Care supports healthy communities by providing a cost-‐effective alternative to emergency room care for a wide range of illnesses and injuries. “We jumped at the opportunity to sponsor the Body Carnival exhibition and helping Fort Bend residents understand how their bodies work and what they can do to be healthier,” said Juliet Breeze, MD and CEO of Next Level Urgent Care. “The more people know about how to handle illness and injuries, the
better they can manage emergencies when they occur – and when to visit a doctor, an urgent care facility or an ER.” Located at 13019 University Blvd.(at the corner of University and New Territory Blvds.), the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land is open Thursday -‐ Friday, 9 a.m. -‐ 3 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. -‐ 5 p.m.; and Sunday noon -‐ 5 p.m. For tickets or more information, visit www.hmns.org or call (281) 313-‐2277.
