HOBBS LAKE PROJB

Report on 2001 Summer ProspedfiBy I. Tchajkov

INTRODUCTION-c*r

I. Tchajkov, M. Se has conducted this work, on behalf and expenses of Mr. Albert Leblanc. The project covered two closely placed, but separated prospects: the Hobbs Lake (HL) Southern and HohJ?S Lake (HL) Northern. They are located in the Hobbs Twp, Nipissing Mining District, 118 km NE of Sudbury, Ontario.

ACCESS AND PHYSIOGRAPHY

To reach the area from Sudbury one must drive 58 km to east along the 17 highway till town of Warren, than 27 km to north along the regional road 539 and than 33 km to north on gravel roads, build mainly by logging companies. Neglected log roads, ATV and snow-machine trials have been used within the boundaries of prospects. Caution should be taken while using these trails after having rain.

About 1/3 of the investigated area is covered by lakes, ponds, creeks, and swaps. Southeastern slopes of the local heights are the steepest and best exposed.

GENERAL SRUCTURAL AND GEOLOGICAL SETTING

The area is structurally very diverse zone where the 3 major provinces of the Canadian Shield (the Superior, the Southern and the Grenville) intersect, immediately to south of the Grenville Front. The northwest trending faults are the best observed and the most pronounced topographically, they believed to be a part of the Lake Timiskaming Structural Zone.

oGeological mapping was far beyond the objectives of the reported work, the most of g observed bedrock are presented by a highly complex mixture of apparently granitic intruded into metamorphic rocks, mainly quartz-biotite schistose. Diorite dikes and flows of various compositions - from felsic through intermediate to basaltic - are often observed along steep cliffs.

For the purpose of this particular work we studied the glacial and alluvial boulders, targeting the diamond-bearing kimberlites. Later study proved that the most of them being conglomerates of the Gowganda Formation. ^^^

o

EXPLORATION OBJECTIVE ^^^ a

The diamond-bearing kimberlite, are the main target of prospecting in the area, followed by gold and platinum-palladium mineralization. As mentioned above, the investigated' area is the part of the Lake Timiskaming Structural Zone which is interpreted (Sage, 1966) as a conduit through which kimberlite intruded.

HOBBS TWP PROJECT

Project area was in hobbs twp on claims #1246945,1246514 A 1244701

I.Tchajkov was hired as geologist for this project

Project was started in April 2001 and completed in June 2001

I.Tchajkov spent 10 days in the field and 2 days report prep

Albert Leblanc spent 22 days in the field 10 days with I.Tchajkov as helper and 12 days prospecting with Dave Morrisson

Dave Morrisson spent 12 days in the field

During the course of this project many samples were taken, only the most interesting are described by I.Tchajkov.These were taken to Mike Cosec and G.Savage at MNDM and Ken Lappiere at JML Rescources and all agree that none are kimberlitic also that those samples with sulphides were not an indicator of any other minerals being in place.None of the samples were sent for assay. The main purpose of this project was to search for kimberlite.Report by S.E.Allan #6043 indicates that this area has potential.

I.Tchajkov used Albert Leblanc,s V2 ton truck to travel from his residence to profect area.

To Whom It May Concern:

I,Tchajkov, M. Se has conducted prospecting, on behalf and expenses of Mr. Albert Leblanc. The project covered two closely placed, but separated prospects: the Hobbs Lake (HL) Southern and Hobbs Lake (HL) Northern.

The field works were conducted on intermittent basis from April 25, 2001 till June 8, 2001, total l O days. The office work takes 2 days.

We agreed on S250 per day fee. The total work will cost 12 x S250 * S3,000.

Mr. Leblanc paid me S500 on May, 10, 2001.

Thus, I would like to receive S2,J

Dear Sir or Madam

Submission Number: 2.24651 Transaction Number(s): W0270.01884

Subject: Approval of Assessment Work

We have approved your Assessment Work Submission with the above noted Transaction Number(s). The attached Work Report Summary indicates the results of the approval.

At the discretion of the Ministry, the assessment work performed on the mining lands noted in this work report may be subject to inspection and/or investigation at any time.

The 45 days outlined in the Notice dated February 25, 2003 have passed without the deficiencies being addressed. As indicated in the 45 day notice little information has been supplied with this submission. The critical information required for a prospecting submission is a report describing in detail the nature and content of the work and the observations made during performance of the work and a plan at a scale of between 1:100 and 1:5,000 showing traverses and observed features (not by circling 4 areas on a 1:40,000 scale claim map). There has been no credit allowed for prospecting.

The geological prospecting portion provided only minimal information. Several of the sample descriptions arefor samples located off the claims and we typically do not allow assessment credit for sample descriptionsonly. In this instance we have allowed the following credit:Labour - 3950Report - 5200Mileage-3165ATV 470Misc. - 350Total = 31,435

Assessment work credit has been approved as outlined on the attached Work Report Summary. The assessment credit is being reduced by 39,679. The TOTAL VALUE of assessment credit that will be allowed, based on the information provided in this submission, is 31,435.

If you have any question regarding this correspondence, please contact [email protected] or by phone at (705) 670-5856.
