July 2012:
– Author Harrison Coerver presents his book, Race
for Relevance, to NSPE House of Delegates,
followed by facilitated discussion on applying its
concepts to NSPE.
Fall 2012
– Surveys of members, non-members and other
stakeholders
– Seven task forces formed
• Over 100 volunteers served from more than 40 states

Continue efforts to reduce operating costs, with the
goal of enabling lower dues by:
– Continuing Program Prioritization Task Force efforts to
exercise business discipline and eliminate non-essential
programs
– Implementing Member Value strategies aimed at:
• Concentrating resources on organizational strengths
• Collaboration and coordination of member services at each of the
three tiers
• Appropriate product and dues/non-dues revenue mix
• Effective membership and member services marketing and
delivery

focus of NSPE advocacy on issues relevant to the value of
the PE license
