ConnectingDP2000sandDMXProcessor8000s
IfconnectingoneDPtoyourconsole,connectitviaaCROSSOVERCat5Ethernetcable.
If
you
are
connecting
multiple
DPs,
then
connect
the
console
and
all
DPs
to
anetwork
switch
usingpatch(noncrossover)cables.
OnceyourDPisconnectedandtheshowislaunched,theconsolewillchecktheDP'ssoftwareversion. If
theydonotmatch,theconsolewillpromptyoutoupgradetheDPtomatchthedesk. Simplyfollowthe
promptsontheconsoleandtheconsolewillupgradetheDP.

ConnectingExternalMonitorsandCaibratingTouchscreens
1.ConnectthemonitortotheVGAorDVIadaptoronyourconsole. IfyouareusingaTouchscreenwitha
USBcable,besuretoconnectthataswell.

In
order
to
use
an
external
monitor
on
the
Road
Hog,
you
will
need
the
USB
to
VGA
adaptor.
2. PresstheSETUPkeyandselectCONTROLPANELfromthemaintoolbar(bottomoftherightmonitor)
3. IntheDISPLAYStaboftheControlPanel,clicktheENABLEDbuttonunderthemonitoryouareadding
andpickaresolutionfromthedropdownbelow.
4.ClickAPPLY
5. Ifthemonitorisatouchscreen,pressCALIBRATETOUCHSCREENSandfollowthepromptstocalibrate
allmonitorsincudingtheexternal.

flashlettingyouknowithasbeenconfiguredcorrectly.
6. Clickingthebuttontotherightofthelightbulbwilldisplaya"PlaybackBar,"whichwillshowthe
contentsofwhathasbeenrecordedtothatWingonanygivenpage.
Tip:IfyouareusingaminiwingandwouldliketodragthePlaybackbartoanexternalmonitor,simply
doubleclickonthe2verticalbarsattheleftsideoftheplaybackbar. Thiswillundockthebarandyoucan
thendragittotheexternalmonitor. Draganddropittothebottomoftheexternalmonitoranditwillre
dockitself.

3.Inthepopup,scrolldowntofindthemanufacturerofthefixture(s)youwanttoadd. Clickonthe
manufacturer'snametoexpandthelistoftheirfixtures.
4. Locateandhighlight(click)thenameofthefixtureyouaretryingtoadd.
5. PresstheSETkeyandenterthequantityoffixturesyouhaveofthattype.
6. Repeatthisprocesstoaddany/allofyourotherfixturesandthenclickOK.
