Summer Reading ProgramUntil July 23All ages are invited to join in our Summer Reading Program 2015. This year’s theme is “Read to the Rhythm”. Special events will be offered each week of the program, please contact the Library for more information.

School Age Center Summer CampUntil August 28Don’t let your children get bored at home! Join the School Age Center for weeks full of fun activities during the summer such as gardening, woodworking, fitness camp, outdoor activities, and cool weekly field trips

Grand Unveiling of classics book collectionJuly 1, 10 a.m.Here is your chance to educate yourself in the classics of American and British literature! We’re opening our new Classics Corner for general checkout - come and get smarter! Or at least talk as if you are.

Texas Hold ‘Em TournamentJuly 10, 6:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.Try your luck in a game of Texas Hold ‘Em and win BIG! Cost is $25 to buy in and $25 re-buys. Limited seating, sign up early the Zone! Open to ID card holders 18 years and older.

BUNCO July 10, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.Win big at our monthly game night! We’re playing Bunco, a fast paced dice game. Please, no Children allowed. $15 per person.

Evening Wine TastingJuly 10, 5 p.m.Come spend the evening relaxing at the cozy Gut Löweneck Café located on the scenic Naab River. We will enjoy sampling a diverse selection of German and Italian wines. Sign up at Outdoor Recreation.

Evening Paddling at the LakeJuly 15An instructor will introduce you to basic strokes and concepts. You will have the chance to paddle sea kayaks, canoes, whitewater kayaks and stand up paddle boards (SUP).

Effective Saturday, July 18 the hours of operation for the Hohenfels Post Gym will change to 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on weekends and U.S. Federal Holidays. The complete hours of operation including this change are below.

Monday - Friday; 5:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Weekends and Holidays: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. USAREUR Training Holidays: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
