Greetings and Merry Christmas!
It’s hard to believe that 2014 is nearly behind us - and that we’re almost half way through
this Seminar Year. It looks like our unit is again On-Target for Unit Club!
Congratulations to Julie Monroe Falk who earned the 2nd month Team Leader
Race for the Red Necklace. Way to go Julie!
Congratulations also to Jenn Wiken (My sister Jenni Wiken’s daughter-in-law.) who
won the November contest for the Timewise Repair Set! I will be giving away another
set this month as well, then in 2015 I will have a new incentive.
If jumpstarting your Mary Kay business is your goal, go to my website

We Can Do it!
A Little MoreA Little MoreA Little More When you’ve done what needs to be done, go ahead and do a little more.
When you’ve gotten some momentum going, make good use of it. By itself,
a tiny effort won’t be very effective. Yet, when it is added on at the end
of another effort, it can make a world of positive difference.
Those who stop when they’ve done what needs to be done will
usually manage to just get by. Those who keep going just a
little longer end up being vastly more successful.
The difference between mediocrity and astounding success isn’t really that much.
And yet, though the difference is small, it is crucial.
You can quit when you break even, and you’ll manage to stay just where you are.
Or you can add a little extra effort, and move steadily ahead each time. Once
you’re moving forward, you have momentum on your side. Go a little past
the goal, and the rewards will grow with every effort.
~ Ralph Marsten

This is a small, beautifully wrapped gift that a husband puts on his wife’s pillow Christmas night…after all the
other gifts have been opened, the mess cleaned up, after Christmas dinner is over, and all of the guests have
gone.. The tag on the gift says, this is for you because I appreciate you and all of that you do for us.
Ask the men you know, “Have you purchased your pillow gift for your wife?” Of course, he will ask what it is,
and you can tell him and then offer to wrap it for him. You can also tell him that this will make him a true
hero in her life! Even when men tell you they have finished their Christmas shopping, (Sometimes they say
“yes” whether they have or not.) you can ask them if they remembered their Pillow Gift.
This is a pillow gift as you can see.
Given with love for you, from me.
Given because I am so grateful
you are my wife.
Given because I appreciate all you
do because life wouldn’t be the
same without you.
Given with all the love I can give for
a wonderful life, as long as we live.
How to Think Like a Retailer MEN! Now is the time to close men for the holidays!
Be willing to work the week before Christmas and you will double your sales! Take gifts with you wherever you go! Approach men at the garage while getting your oil changed, at the grocery store, wherever you go! Wear your pin! If you have gifts there with you, you WILL SELL THEM! The key is having products gifts made up and on hand!
Take stocking stuffers and last-minute gifts with you everywhere. Take a list of “Who have you forgotten?” with you to classes and appointments. Have gifts available that fill those needs!
Selling in December Follow up on All Holiday Wish Lists! Be willing to drop by
the office to demonstrate gifts, and ask them to invite their friends to view them as well. Have an example of The 12 Days of Christmas! Make sure to include your card and MK’s 100% guarantee with each gift so that they can exchange it if necessary.
Deliver gifts as early in the month as you can. Remember to always bring extra gifts, and ask who she may have forgotten or if she needs extra gifts to keep on hand. If at all possible, deliver the products to her office and deliver them in a gift bag. Bring extra gifts, brochures, and profiles for interested co-workers!
Hold a second Holiday Open House! Focus on last minute holiday gifts and glamour Holiday Looks!
Book Holiday Classes NOW! Book Holiday Coffees, quick Gift Shows, etc. Focus on great glamour, flawless skin and our proven results! Help them look their best!
Always be prepared with gifts, examples, brochures and print outs. Have a pen and profile for people to fill out every place you go. Keep your car and purse stocked.
Recruiting in December Why not play in makeup while spending
time with family? Each hostess is looking for another great idea to entertain her family while they are in town. MK facials are a great solution! Not only do they offer a great time, but it gives her a chance to have each family member try our great new products in person! It’s a great chance to take orders and get a jump-start on her career!
There is still time to purchase gifts at cost! She might want to start her new career as a Christmas gift to herself and her family. Think of all the doors it opens!
There are also great end-of-the-year tax benefits! Also, remind her that she will be starting the new year off right!
