ITINERARY Day 1: Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 2: There will be a morning sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Late evening welcome on-board the Deccan Odyssey train for dinner and onward journey to Sawai Madhopur.

Day 3: Travel to Sawai Madhopur – Ranthambore National Park. Set out for your morning village safari. Return to the Deccan Odyssey before you set out for a game drive. After, enjoy high tea at the Sawai Madhopur Lodge. Later, head back to the Deccan Odyssey where you will have dinner on board, as the Deccan Odyssey sets off for Agra.

Day 4: In the morning you will visit the Taj Mahal before your visit to Itmad-ud-Daulah, otherwise known as ‘Baby Taj’. Afterwards visit Agra Fort before returning to the Deccan Odyssey for your onward journey to Jaipur, The Pink City.

Day 5: Visit the Palace of Winds on your way to the Amber Fort. After this you will visit the famous City Palace of Jaipur. Return to the Deccan Odyssey as it departs for Udaipur.

Day 6: The Deccan Odyssey rolls into Udaipur in the morning. Later, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola to reach Jagmandir. After lunch, return to Deccan Odyssey for a short rest. Before embarking on a Walking Tour through the Old City of Udaipur. Return to the Deccan Odyssey for dinner as we depart for Vadodara.

Day 7: Visit Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park. After lunch you will then visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum before enjoying high tea at the Laxmi Villas Palace before the Deccan Odyssey departs for Aurangabad.

Day 8: Arrive in Aurangabad, where a scenic drive takes you to the Ellora Caves. After exploring Ellora, return to the Deccan Odyssey for a relaxing evening.

Day 9: Disembark at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station, Mumbai. Bid farewell to the Deccan Odyssey as your journey through India comes to an end. Transfer to your Hotel, the remainder of your day is at leisure.

Day 10: The day is free until it is time for your transfer to the Airport and your return flight to the UK.

ITINERARY Days 1–2: Arrive in Tokyo on Day 2. Transfer to the hotel for the first night in Japan.

Day 3: Full-day tour of Tokyo by coach, discovering the sights of this incredible city.

Day 4: Continue to Hakone by train. On arrival, tour the spectacular Hakone National Park. Enjoy a short cruise on tranquil Lake Ashi, and continue by coach to the sulphurous hot springs at Owakudani.

Day 5: Travel by coach to Mount Fuji. Arrive at the Mount Fuji Visitor Centre to learn more about the snow-capped peak. Later enjoy a visit to Matsumoto Castle before spending the night in Matsumoto.

Day 6: Tour continues by coach today, as you travel to Takayama, pausing en-route for an excursion to the nearby Folk Village. After exploring here, continue to Takayama, where you spend the night at the Hida Plaza Hotel.

Day 7: After a guided tour of Takayama, enjoy a journey on the Hida Train to Nagoya, continuing onwards by Bullet Train to Hiroshima.

Day 8: Travel by tram and boat to Miyajima Island, where you leave modern life behind in the tranquillity of the wooded island. During your time on the island, enjoy a walking tour, which includes a visit to the Itsukushima Shrine. Afternoon is free to enjoy in Hiroshima.

Day 9–10: Visit the World Peace Memorial Park and later travel to Kyoto. A morning of sightseeing tours on Day 10 takes you to the Kinkakuji Temple, Nijo Castle and the Kiyomizu Temple. In the afternoon enjoy a traditional tea ceremony in a thatched farmhouse. Afterwards, take a walking tour of the Gion before returning back to Kyto for dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 11: Today takes you to Nara, a short train ride away from Kyoto. Here you will enjoy a walking tour, taking in the beautiful Todai-ji Temple, the largest wooden building in the world, and its Great Buddha, Kasuga Shrine. Later enjoy a dinner in Pontocho Alley.

Day 12: Travel by rail to Osaka, a futuristic city where you will visit the Floating Garden Observatory in the iconic Umeda Sky Building. After, enjoy a farewell dinner in the hotel this evening.

ITINERARY Day 1: Travel to Geneva from London by air, and then transfer onto a train from the airport to Montreux. Upon arrival, make your way to the Helvetie Montreux and check in for an overnight stay in Montreux.

Day 2: Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before making your way to the railway station and joining the Golden Pass train. As the journey begins, the route rises above Lake Geneva, offering amazing views of the Swiss Rivera. The train passes through a mountain tunnel at Jaman, and then continues on to Chateaux d’Oex and Gstaad. The highest point of the journey is at 1, 274 metres, before arriving in Zweisimmen. From Zweisimmen, the train snakes its way through the Simme Valley and then continues on to Interlaken, between Lakes Thun and Brienz. On arrival, check in at the Krebs Interlaken for a 2 night stay. Day 3: After breakfast, you will climb to Europe’s highest altitude railway station on Jungfrau Mountain, at a colossal 3,454 metres high. At Jungfraujoch, take in the breathtaking views of the Black Forest in Germany and the Vosges Mountains in France. After a spectacular day sightseeing, return to the hotel for the second night of your stay. Overnight stay in Interlaken.

Day 4: Depart Interlaken today and travel to Brig by train, over the incredible Lötschberg Mountain, where you will meet the Glacier Express.
