Welcome

Visitors!

Father Farrell, the

staff and parishioners

of Holy Family

Catholic Church

welcome you!

Whether you are

here for a few days,

weeks, or months we

are happy that you

have chosen us to be

your parish away

from home. Those of

us who reside here

permanently are few

in number perhaps

fifteen percent of

those who attend our

weekend liturgies.

We are inspired by

the many thousands

who join us in

celebrating Mass,

both on Sunday and

during the week. The

beautiful example of

faith you give us by

your presence

strengthens our

commitment to serve

your spiritual needs.

We especially invite

you to worship

Our Lord in our

Eucharistic Adoration

Chapel located to the

right of the Church as

you leave.

We hope your stay

on our lovely island is

enjoyable, we pray

that your journey

home is safe and we

look forward to your

return visit to us

your parish away

from home.

THANK YOU FROM KAIROS, THE WEEKEND HAD TO BE CANCELLED

A Big Thank You from Kairos of South

Carolina for the generous donations of

cookies (over 200 dozen) and money

(~$1500) to support the ongoing prison ministry in our state.

Unfortunately, the spring 3½ day weekend at Allendale Correctional Institution in Fairfax, SC, originally

scheduled for April 26-29, had to be canceled. We had hoped that the statewide prison lock down would be

lifted and we could shift one week to 3-6 May, but the lock down continues.

That is the bad news. The good news is that the Warden has allowed us to send in the cookies, so

the 1,100 or so inmates will receive these as evidence of your Christian Charity towards them, which is

especially important in this difficult time.

Our next Allendale weekend will be in early November.

On behalf of all the Kairos volunteers, and the residents of Allendale, thank you again for your

generous support!

Dennis Mahoney, Kairos Volunteer
