ORDINARY TIME
At the beginning of what we call “Ordinary Time”
in the liturgical calendar, which is not to be confused
with “uneventful time,” we are invited to greatly
rejoice in the tremendous gifts our
God has bestowed upon us.
We think here especially of the gift of Jesus Christ
our Lord, born in time, yet God from all eternity.
Jesus remains with us and we remain with Him.

Bishop Cary has given us a new translation of the Prayer to St. Michael. He would like us to transition to this translation. It can be found in English and Spanish below:
ST. MICHAEL PRAYER (Translated by Bishop Liam Cary) St. Michael, Archangel, defend us in battle.
From the wickedness and snares of the devil protect us.
May God restrain him, we humbly pray.
And do Thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

as arrange for a visit, communion and an anointing of the sick.
“Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him anointing him
with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up
and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”
James 5:14
Mass Intentions
What does it mean to have a Mass "offered" for someone? An individual may ask a priest to offer a Mass
for several reasons:
For example, in thanksgiving, for the intentions of another person (such as on a birthday), or as is most common, for
the repose of the soul of someone who has died. One must never forget the infinite graces that flow from the
Sacrifice of the Mass which benefit one’s soul.
The suggested stipend is $10 (paid directly to Pastor/Presiding Priest). Please call the Parish Office at Holy
Redeemer at least two weeks in advance.
In the event, of a recent death, your intention will be said at the next available Mass.
We can also send a Mass card.
Please contact the Parish Office at 541-536-3571
ATTENTION !
1. Henceforth, the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after the Friday mass in Holy Redeemer Church, La Pine will take place in the main church and shall conclude at 12:00 noon.
2. All first Saturday Masses at Prairie House are suspended until further notice.
