Dan Haren, who posted a 13-11 record and 4.02 ERA (186.0 ip/83 er) in 32 starts with Dodgers last year, is making his ninth start of the season for Miami tonight. The 12-year veteran has reached double-digit wins in each of his last 10 seasons. He is one of seven current pitchers to own an active streak of 10-or-more consecutive seasons with 10+ wins (Stats, LLC).

Making 13th career start and appearance against the O’s, his first since May 30, 2013, another Interleague start in which he took the loss for the Nationals despite tossing 7.1 innings and allowing just two runs on eight hits, with five strikeouts.

In his last start, became 24th right-handed pitcher since 1914 to record 100 career starts with no walks allowed.

His 21 wins in Interleague Play are tied with Roy Halladay, Livan Hernandez and Mike Mussina for 10th most all-time, and are good for seventh place among active players, behind Mark Buehrle (29), Bartolo Colon (25), Justin Verlander (25), CC Sabathia (24), A.J. Burnett (23), and Jake Peavy (22).

Over career, has given up 282 home runs, 188 of which were with nobody on base (66.7%). That is the 10th-highest percentage of home runs allowed coming with bases empty (min. 200 HR allowed) in Major League history. - Stats LLC

Earned team-leading fourth win on May 7 at San Francisco. It was his second straight start without allowing a home run, after having surrendered a long ball in each of first four starts.

Since his rookie season in 2003, leads all active starting pitchers in strikeout/walk ratio with a 4.11 mark. Cliff Lee ranks second at 3.98, followed by Cole Hamels (3.71), James Shields (3.64) and Zack Greinke (3.63).
