Objective: Can I talk about a time when my first impression of someone changed when I got to
know them?
Can I explain why it is good to accept people for who they are?

Read and discuss the key vocabulary words with a family member.
What do they mean?
When have you heard them before?
Can you use each of them correctly in a conversation?
You could try to learn to spell some of them.

To play word catch you will need a partner.
Write down 3 words each on your own piece of paper but do not show your partner.
Number yourselves as players 1 and 2.
Stand facing each other.
Player 1 – call out your first word e.g. “Cheese!”
Player 2 – call out a word that is related e.g. “Crackers!”
Player 1 – call out a word that is related to their reply e.g. “Biscuits!”
Keep going until you take longer than 10 seconds to reply, can’t think of a word or repeat a word.
At this point, you should have 5 more starter words to choose from.
