Concur Mobile Enhancements February 2017

Concur has release several new enhancements to the mobile product (version 9.41) including:

1. Android, iPhone and iPad – Fixed Travel Allowances (also known as per diems)

Android, iPhone and iPad – Fixed Travel Allowances (also known as per diems)

Users can now claim their fixed meals on mobile.

iPhone Only – Allocations

Create, Edit, and Delete Allocations With the 9.41 release, iPhone/iPad users can allocate an expense by manually selecting the allocation percentage and cost center. With the expense open, the user taps Allocations. Then, the user taps New Allocation (or the + sign on the upper-right side of the screen), fills out the fields, and saves the new allocation. NOTE: The New Allocation button appears if the expense is not yet allocated. Then, to add additional allocations, the user taps the +.

The user taps the + sign on the upper-right side of the screen to continue adding allocations. The user can review the percentage allocated and remaining at the bottom of the screen. In addition, the user can edit allocations by tapping anywhere on the Allocation row.

The user can delete an individual allocation by swiping left on the allocation row. A user can delete all allocations for an expense by tapping the trash can icon on the upper-right side of the screen.

Create Itemization-Level Allocations The user can also allocate at the itemization level, by tapping Allocations on the Itemization screen and then tapping New Allocation (or the + sign on the upper-right side of the screen).

Icon Once the items are successfully allocated, an Allocation icon appears with the expense and itemizations as well as the report level.

Android – Updated Home Screen and Main Menu Concur has updated the home screen for a cleaner look-and-feel. Concur has also eliminated the menu in the upper-right corner of the home screen and moved the options (like Settings) to one single menu.

iPhone/iPad – Receipt Image Available on Manual Expense Entry Screen

Android, iPhone and iPad – Combined Expenses and Receipts

The new expense list combines receipts and expenses into a single list view. With the combination of receipts and expenses in a single list, spend management and identifying Smart Expenses is much easier.

iPhone/iPad – Receipt Image Crop

Concur automatically crops a receipt image to remove the background – resulting in only the receipt image displaying.

Android and iPhone / iPad – Blurred Receipt Image

If Mobile detects that the receipt image is blurry, this message appears in the lower-left corner of the screen: Blurry image detected. Please retake. The user should consider getting a better image, which may ensure more timely reimbursement of the associated expense.
