The Lions Clubs International with 1.3 million members has decided to hold its July,2019 annual convention in Milan, Italy.

In its nearly 100 years as an organisation, the Lions Club has chosen only threedestinations in Europe for its convention – Hamburg (Germany), Birmingham (UK)and Nice (France).

The work on the bid was a team effort involving Fiera Milano Congressi - the officialbidder and manager of the convention centre MiCo that will host the convention,Lions Club Italia, the organisation’s local chapter in Italy and AIM GroupInternational, which will be the official PCO of the event.

The convention will bring an estimated 25,000 people, including delegates and theirguests, for four days generating about EUR60 million for the destination.
