Many people think of Taiwan as agrimy, densely populated industrial is-land full of hard disk factories, and youmay well maintain this perception if youonly stick to the densely populated WestCoast. However, for those who take timeto venture to the more sparsely popu-lated East Coast will quickly nd thatTaiwan is actually home to some stun-ning landscapes. The Taroko Gorge nearHualien in particular is very impressive, and should not be missed. Most of Tai-wan is covered with mountains whichoffer breathtaking views, so hiking op-portunities are very diverse. The islandis also home to high mountain ranges, great beaches and stunning nationalparks - many with hot springs. Taiwan isa perfect place for your coming vacation. Please join us in every season!
