Harvey “Adrian” Allred 1935-2019

It is with deepest sympathies and broken hearts that we regret to announce the passing of former chief, Harvey “Adrian” Allred. Adrian was a natural leader and a true public servant. He dedicated more than 57 years of his life in the fire service between Crestline and Aberdeen Fire Departments. He was affectionately known to many as “Chief.” Numerous firefighters were given their start in the fire service under Adrian’s guidance and leadership. In 2019, Adrian was granted the esteemed Order of the Longleaf Pine proving his dedication to serving others. As impressive as these works were, none can compare to the love Adrian shared as a husband, father, granddaddy, and great granddaddy. It is without a doubt, that on the afternoon of August 24th, Adrian was met at the heavenly gates hearing, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”
