Field trip to LEGOLAND (8:30-4:00) Campers will explore the deep seas at LEGOLAND’s SEA LIFE aquarium! Dissect a squid and learn sea life survival tips before
building deep see LEGO scenes. Campers will experience the new LEGO CITY submarine ride while having the opportunity to
explore the both LEGOLQAND and SEA LIFE Aquarium during this week of deep sea fun!

Field trip to
VERTICAL HOLD Campers will receive 2 hours of daily instruction in the fundamentals of rock climbing. Experienced climbers will also teach campers about
different knots and a variety of techniques for successful climbing. Equipment for rock climbing will be provided. Vendor waiver is required and will be available at the front desk June 1st. Parents must sign this waiver on the first day of Mountaineering Camp.

Field trip to Mission Bay Aquatics Center
Campers will spend 3 hours each day rotating through stand up paddle boarding and kayaking with the team from
Mission Bay Aquatic Center. After learning the basics of kayaking and SUP, campers will participate in fun games on their paddle equipment!

Campers will meet cold-blooded creatures of the animal world as they are introduced to snakes, frogs,
tortoises, turtles, lizards, bugs and other creepy crawlies. This camp will have campers collaborating
with reptiles and friends. Camper’s hands-on experience will be enhanced by art projects, games and activities that investigate the lives of reptiles.

Each day campers will enjoy a 30 minute swim
lesson to improve their swimming skills that will build pride, confidence and self-esteem in all aspects of
their lives. On Friday afternoon, campers will enjoy an inflatable waterslide here at the YMCA.
