Electr ificat ion of V-LINE®

A servo motor was adopted for the plasticization and injection unit of the accurate and highly repeatable V-LINE® method. The im-proved accuracy of each position by controlling the measurement values and injection position information by a closed loop function, realizes highly stable repeatability of the plasticization, measure-ments and injection.

Space-saving Design

This is a space-saving model of Sodick's molding machine which only requires minimum space. Since the number of machines can be increased, it is suitable for vertical startup with few cavity molds of initial lots.

Tie-bar- less & Wide Platen

The adoption of a parallel link mold clamping mechanism, realized tie-bar-less. The improved workability around the mold, contributes to reductions in the setup time. Adoption of a wide platen enables free layout of the mold accessories.

Sodick's new "Electr ic Hybrid Direct Pressure Mold Clamping Mechanism”The main point of high cycle molding is to shor ten the dr y

cycle t ime. This model is equipped with Sodick's new "Elec-

t r ic Hybr id Direc t Pressure Mold Clamping Mechanism,"

which real izes high-speed operat ion, posi t ioning and ori-

entat ion accuracy.

"Optimizat ion" accelerates "High Cycle"

Th i s mach ine was deve loped w i th d i rec t p re s su re mo ld c l amp i ng u s e f u l f o r p r e s s u r e mo l d i ng , a im i ng f o r t h e world's fas tes t direct pressure mold c lamping machine.The opt imizat ion of the mold open/close and mold c lamp-ing mechanism by the reduced weight , low iner t ia and re-duced volume of hydraulic f luid, and the optimization of the opera t ion sequence by s tandardiza t ion o f s imu l taneous operat ions, rea l ized a reduct ion of the dr y cyc le t ime by 50%*2 ( compared wi th Sodick ' s ex i s t ing produc t ) , and a reduct ion of the molding cycle t ime.
