PETERCONROYofHorningseaMostresidentsinHorningseaandpartsofWaterbeachwouldknowPeterastheirpos<eofmanyyears.Sadlyon29thFebruary,2016,hesuddenlydiedfromahearta0ack.PeterhadneverdriventhereforewhenthepostwasdeliveredbyvaninHorningseahisroundmovedtoWaterbeachwhereheoperatedun<lhisre<rement,September,2015.Peterwasasingularpersonwithmanyinterests,gardening,pain<ng,music(playingkeyboardandguitar)aswellasfishing.Hewassomewhatofarecluse;mostresidentsoutsidehispostaldeliveriesrarelysawhim,althoughbeingPeter’snextdoorneighboursfor14years,wegottoknowhimwell.

ItisequallysadtonotethatthetwopeoplewhomarkeduptheHorningseamap(yes,PeterConroywaspartofthis)havebothdiedwithinashortperiodofeachother,JaneAdams(Newman)beingtheother.
