GDS60-1 DIRECT VENT CAST IRON GAS STOVE REPLACING CURRENT GDS60

Please note the GDS60-1 Direct Vent Cast Iron Gas Stove is scheduled to replace the existing GDS60 version. The new GDS60-1 Cast Iron Gas Stove, a streamlined version of our current GDS60, will be available in June and will come complete with the cast iron door and is offered in 3 popular finishes (painted metallic black, painted wrought iron and porcelain majolica brown). Due to an unforeseen delay in receiving the new castings, our anticipated May introduction has been post-poned to June 2009. Our current GDS60 inventory is limited, therefore be sure to check with our Order Entry regarding availability, prior to making firm commitments to your customers. SUCCESS STORY IBS SHOW 09

Napoleon® had the busiest booth at the IBS Show which took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Jan 20-23, 09. With a 1300 square foot booth and 20 burning displays, we were hard to miss. Even though the attendance was down about 30% (65,000 people) versus the 2008 show in Orlando FL, our leads were up 30%. This was accomplished with great support from some of our new products such as the EF31 with a glass burner, EF39 wall mount electric fireplace, LHd50 Linear gas fireplace, LHd50 Linear See Thru gas fireplace, a new rock burner for the gd36, a new modern surround for the gdI44, and excellent response to some of our current models like the NZ6000, gSS42, CRYSTALLO™, Tureen™, gdIZC, gdS25, NPS40, waterfalls and our built in grill island. Thanks to all of our sales reps and employee’s that attended and put in an 8 day work week, it was well worth the trip. We look forward to the 2010 show again in Las Vegas.

Wolf Steel and NAC products were on display in full force at this years HPBA Show, held in Reno, NV March 18-21, 2009. Even though attendance was down this year, our booth was busier than ever, and with over 20 new exciting products on the floor, the response from the attendees was extremely positive. With many competitors either not showing this year, or reducing the size of their space and commitment, we had the largest booth we’ve ever erected at the show, and felt it was extremely important to show our support to the HPBA, even in this slow economic climate. Napoleon® would like to thank all of the dealers and distributors that had a chance to visit our booth, and also thank all of our sales staff and associates who helped set up and tear down the booth, as well as take care of all of our customers, it was a team effort and the results spoke for themselves. Here’s to our most successful show ever, and we are looking forward to next year in Orlando Florida.

This program was updated on March 30th. grants were increased by roughly 25%. The amount available for replacing a non certified wood burning stove with an EPA certified wood or pellet stove is now $375 for the first appliance, and $190 for the second. This is in addition to any provincial or territorial programs.
