You have just purchased the most technically advanced a-arm on the market today. It shouldbe expected that this install will be difficult and possibly time consuming. Make sure you read thedirections carfully and call Houser Racing 1-877-6-GA-FAST for install questions.

First, try to understand how your a-arm works and what it will do for your riding. The TricTrac a-anns adjust your caster for you while the ATV is in motion. When you slow down for a tight turn, yourshocks compress from the decrease in acceleration. The TricTrac a-afin$ utiLize this compression by using the splineshaft to force the upper a-arfri forward. This forward movement of the upper a-afin is a decrease in caster. After thetight turn is completed and your ATV retums to ride height, your caster will automatically retum to its ride heightposition as well.

It is diffrcult to get the fully extended placement of your caster. It may be easier for you to adjust your caster after the

hub assembly is installed. Install the upper a-arm with the stock bolts (l). Instatl the hub assembly (2). See follorvingpage$ for how to attach ball joints to the knuckle. Thke the rpper a-affn bolts cut and adjust you hex key (3). You may

also preftr to install your shock as well ( ). This way you will have the '"exact'" fullyextended setup f,or adjusting your starting caster-

(5) Example of the caster in the extended positionall of the way back (1116" away from rear side ofmounting bracket.(6) Example of the caster in the extended positionin the middle.*Don't forget tc check the caster

position at ride height to ensure it is where youwant it.*MEASURE how much of the spline shaft is

exposed in the front and make sure it is the same at

all four connections"

A-Arms are at theextended position.(not ride height).

The a-arm bearingend holder shculd be

back as far as you set

it for the fullyextended pcsitioa.

A-Arms are at thecompressed position.(not ride height).

When the shock isfully compressed, the a-arm bearingholder mcvesforeward-
