Here are the new features. Season Parking Visitors Parking 60% 40% 50% ! ! Barrier-free entry and exit to the carpark There will be no gantry barriers at the carpark entrance and exit as vehicle plates are registered via cameras. 1 More payment options Motorists parking short term can pay for their parking charges via credit or debit card through the Parking@HDB app. 2 In-app alerts for visiting motorists Visitors who have downloaded the Parking@HDB app will receive an automated in-app alert at the start and end of their parking session that will also inform them of their incurred charges. They will also be informed to shift their vehicle if they park in an unauthorised space. 4 New overhead light indicators Green means spaces are available for short-term parking, and amber means spaces are reserved for season parking. The light indicator will be switched off for occupied spaces. 3 Flexible allocation of parking spaces Parking spaces will be automatically allocated between season parking and visitor parking to meet varying demands on a real-time basis, based on carpark usage data collected over time. This feature will be rolled out at a later date. 5
