The Vikings were really good sailors. The ships were made from light oak wood. They navigated
by the sun and stars. There where sixteen oar ports on each side of the boat. The ship was very
slim because they could travel down rivers.

What weapons the Vikings used
The Vikings used axes most of the time because they are really sharp, and you would not won't to get chopped by one of these. The weapons they
use were: axes, swords and wooden shields.

What armour Vikings used
Vikings were very good at attacking but their armour was not that good. They wore: a fur hat, woollen tunic and some baggy trousers. And the warriors
wore Iron helmets with nose protectors and chainmail chest pieces.
