01Requirements

Device needs to be part of BYOD program. If not enrolled in BYOD, please check in the BYOD Page (https://www.wabco-

Requirements - Android

For Configuring Microsoft Outlook and Teams in your device should be meet below are the requirementsAndroid – Version 8 or above

Device Should be enrolled in BYOD – if not visit and request in BYOD PAGE

How to check the OS Version: Android (Example from Samsung phone – this may vary device to device)

In your device open Settings → About Phone → Software Information → Verify OS version under “Android Version”

02PingID App Configuration


PingID Installation – Android and iOS

For having Outlook and Teams configured, your device need to have PingID app which is assigned from BYOD. This App is mandatory as it will be 2nd factor for Outlook App.

Android

Open “Hub” → Tab “App Catalog”→ Tab “Install” on PingID → Tab “Install”

when redirected to Play store

iOS

Open Catalog → Tab “Install” on PingID → Tab on Install on prompt

Step 3After Sign On → On top right corner of page → Tab on your account name → Tab “Devices” → Tab “Add” under My Devices → Now you can see a

QR code & Paring code

Step 44.1) Now from your Device -- Open PingID App → Accept Terms of Service.

4.2) Tab button and then accept all PingID permission requests when prompted to do so.4.3) From the PingID App on your device, point your device at the QR code on your browser to scan it.




Step 5

5.1) Enter a nickname for your profile, optionally add a picture, and then tap Done.

5.2) You'll see the screen to approve authentication by sliding up

5.3) Then the one-time passcode number is started generated and ready to configure Outlook & Teams.



03Android Devices – Outlook and Teams



3.1.Outlook Configuration

From BYOD, “Outlook” and “Intune Company Portal” apps are assigned to the deviceswhich are visible in App Catalog

Step 1

1.1) Open HUB → App Catalog → Tab “Install” on Outlook → Tab “Install” when redirected to Google Play1.2) Go back to App Catalog→ Tab “Install” Intune Company Portal → Tab “Install” when redirected to Google Play

Step 2

Once both apps are installed, open Outlook → Get Started → Provide your ZF Email address → Continue

Step 3

Authenticate by providing your ZF Account credentials and press “Sign On”.

After Sign in, Open PingID app and make note the OTP

Step 5

Go back to Outlook → Tab on “Use Code” → Provide noted OTP → Tab “Sign

ON”. (You can also approve directly if received a notification from PingIDApp).

Step 6

Activate device administrator for proceeding with the sign in to ensure security.

Step 7Tab on “Maybe later” to the add another account

and move on.Tab Ok when protection data screen appears.

Skip or go through the demo screens.

Step 8

Create an app lock like PIN/passcode.

Please note that the approval is given automatically and can take up to 2 hours. You will receive the enclosedEmail generated by the system – there is no action

required on your side.

After a waiting period of approx. 2 hours, you are ready to use Outlook App.

Once the approval is done all is set to use like below.



3.2.Teams Configuration - Android

Teams application will be assigned to the device from BYOD which is visible in App Catalog.

Step 1

Open “Hub” in device → Tab “App Catalog” → Tab “Install” on

Microsoft Teams

Step 2

Open Teams App and click on “Sign in”. Provide the ZF.com email address and you are automatically signed in.

Step 3

Once signed in successfully, click on “Next” in the intro screens and proceed into the Teams application main screen. Now you are ready to use the Teams App for Chat, call, meetings etc.

Click “OK” on the coming administrative notification.

Create a PIN for the app which is a mandate step.
