How to make Scones

We are learning to write instructions

To make scone you will need

Ingredients • 300ml Cream• 300ml lemonade • 4 Cups of self-raising Flour

Equipment• A measuring cup• A large bowl for mixing the dough • A spoon to put the dough onto the tray

• Remember to turn on the oven first so it will be the right temperature

When you are baking it is important to get everything together before you start.

First • Mix the cream and lemonade together Then • Put the flour into a large bowl • Add the cream and lemonade mixture to the flour

Then • Mix all the ingredients together • Use a spoon to make fist sized balls of dough • Put each spoon full of mixture onto an oven tray leaving space between

each ball

Finally • Put the scones into a hot oven• Cook for 10 minutes at 200C.

Wait for them to cook

Still cooking

Notice – they have got bigger, lucky we left space between them

While they are cooking • Put some jam into a dish for serving

Also • Shake up some cream until it is thick • Put the cream into a bowl to serve
