Background Childhood obesity is a health problem that
affects children and adolescents. It begins to occur when the child’s weight is
above the normal weight depending on the age and height.
The body mass index is really high. The prevalence of obesity in children have
increase in the past decades. There are many ways to reduce and prevent
obesity in children .

Researches findings
The first study find out the relationship between using electronic entertainment at night time and childhood obesity (Chahal, H., Fung, C., Kuhle, S., & Veugelers, P. (2012).
Zandian, M., et al (2012) found in their study that the more time the school children have, the less food they eat and the better choice of healthy food they choose and this helps to control food intake and reduce obesity among children.
Madowitz, J., et al (2012) found the weight -related teasing, especially by other children, was associated with negative psychological measures such as increased depression and decreased self-esteem that could discourage children from participating in activities which lead to obesity.

Researches findings
Jansen, W., et al, 2012) showed in their study that the overweight among children between 6-9 years has increased by 4.3% in the control group. However, in the intervention group it has increased by 1.3% due to an intervention program in the primary school of children.
Horodynski, M., et al (2012) found in their study that toddlers have shown good outcomes such as increased consumption of fruit and vegetables and minimized sweetened beverage exhaustion through an early intervention program utilize social cognitive theory .

Interpretation of the research/ consumers Limiting the use of EEDS of children in their bed room and
during the night- time maybe a good strategy to promote sleep duration and reduce childhood obesity
an intervention is very important to reduce teasing between children because this will prevent depression and eventually will reduce obesity
The way to reduce obesity is giving children at school more time for break lunch, will help them choosing healthy food and eating less amount
the intervention program in a primary school of children such as physical education sessions, additional sports outside school hours and educational programs help children to lose weight and then the obesity will decrease.
an early intervention include adults and parents is a good way to educate their children and assist them in building healthy eating behavior.
