RSS page on NSE website

• The following page provide the list of the RSS Feed content available on NSE website.

• These include– Corporate Information– NSE Circulars– All Segment single Feed– Segment wise end of the daily Report

• Anyone can subscribe to the RSS Feed and avail of updated information without having to visit the NSE website.

• Feed can be subscribed by  1 Step click on the         button Or see the entire options by click on         button

• The other options are given in the page as

RSS – One click subscription• To subscribe to a feed you need a feed reader. These options are display on the Feed burner page.• You can also subscribe in one click by clicking on the button. This will add the feed to your feed readers

in Google and Yahoo.

Google Reader• Selecting to subscribe to 

RSS feed through Google Reader shall open the following page.

• However to subscribe to this feed.  The URL need to be entered in the box as shown.

• This will create a link in the Subscriptions (Left pane)

Browser Based Readers• Modern day browsers like IE 8, Google Chrome, Mozilla, Safari and Opera support direct RSS Feed

subscription without the user of aggregators

Internet Explorer• To access RSS feed from IE 8

browser. Enable the “Comman Bar”option in View > Toolbar >Command Bar.

• When www.nseindia.com URL isaccessed from IE 8 browser, theRSS icon in the browser becomesactive.

• Choose a Feed from the listdisplayed

• A window showing all the links forthe published feeds shall displaywith the option to “Subscribe to thisfeed”

• On clicking on the “Subscribe to thisfeed a pop‐up window shall bedisplayed which shows the feed towhich you have opted to subscribe.

• You can maintain a separate folderby choosing the “New Folder” andsegregating your feeds or choose ageneral folder.

• On click of subscribe, the link willget added to your Feeds in IE, whichyou can drag and move to yourFavorites Bar.

• Thereafter on click of the RSS linkthe latest published articles will bedisplayed as links

Mozilla Fire Fox• Go to Mozilla Menu.• Select Bookmark options• A list of available Feedswill be displayed in thedrop down

• Click on the link toSubscribe

• Or can use the RSS iconof Mozilla to check feed

• On click of the availablelist of RSS fees, a pop‐upwindow will open askingto add to book‐marks

• You can see the feeddisplay, only if the “ViewBookmarks Toolbar” isenabled

Opera• Adding RSS feed in Opera is verysimple and can be achieved in 2steps.

• Click on the RSS icon appearingin the address bar.

• This will display all availablefeed.

• Click on the feed of your choice.• A window will display with theoption to subscribe with OperaMail.

• Once you choose to subscribethe Feed will display in OperaWeb Mail box.

• Click on the link to view thedetails of the feed.

• Opera also allows you to readfeeds bookmarked on otherbrowsers in the same computer.

Apple Safari• Apple Safari browser indicates awebsite with feeds byhighlighting the RSS feed icon,when the address is input in theaddress bar.

• A click on the same, show thelist of available feed options.

• Click on the any feed option,will display the published newsfeeds for that category.

• At the right hand menu columnan option to add as bookmark isavailable.

• Selecting this option will addthe related feed to theBookmark

Google Chrome• Google chrome provides afacility in the same manneras that of Apple Safari.When the address of awebsite providing feed isentered. The RSS icondisplays the number of feedsavailable for that website.

• On click the availableoptions are displayed. Italso provides an indicatorincase if the feed is alreadyadded.

• Once click the feed willappear in the hierarchy inwhich it was subscribed.

• On click of category, thepublished feeds links for thatcategory are displayed.
