Click your Google Chrome browser.

Type wordpress.com in your browser, then press the “enter” key

Click Get started here

After filling up this form, click Create Blog

Leave this page for awhile. An email will be sent to your email address to activate your Wordpress account.

From the email you received from Wordpress, simply click the Activate Blog tab.

Click your blog’s link here.

Click “Dashboard”

Click “Settings”

Set the time zone, date and time format. Choose the day to start your week.

Choose the language you will use, and then, click “Save Changes”

Click “Appearance”

Choose the theme that you want for your blog here.

Click “Preview” to see a sample layout of any theme that you may be interested.

Click “Activate” when you have your final choice.

To create acategory, click “Posts” from your dashboard column, then click “Categories”

Fill in the name & description of your category, then, click “Add New Category”

To create a Sub-category, click “Categories”

Fill in the name & description of your Sub-category

Click the drop down menu tab under “Parent” and click the category name under which you intend to put your sub-category.

Then, click “Add New Category”

Now you have a Sub-category

To compose a blog, click “Dashboard”

Click “Posts” and then, click “Add New”

Type in your Post Title and Content here.

Click the tick box of the category under which your blog should be classified.

If you wish to preview your blog before you publish it,

just click “Preview.”

Click “Publish” when you’re ready to publish your blog.

You have just published your first Wordpress blog!
