How to View and Print Your Document

Your personal Educator Page allows you to complete recommendations from your program sponsor, and renew documents when required. You can also use your Educator Page to update your personal and contact information on file with the Commission. Name changes cannot be made online. Submit Form 41-NC to change your name, SSN, ITIN or date of birth.

1. Click the Educator Login button on the Commission’s Home page www.ctc.ca.gov

2. Log in to your personal profile on the secure Educator Page. You will be asked to enter yourUser ID and Password.

NOTE: Effective 02/16/2017, you will not be able to access your file online directly with aSocial Security number and Date of Birth. All users will be required to create a User IDand password first before accessing their CTC Online file.

If you have already created your User ID and password, enter them in the screen shownbelow and move to step 5. Users who have not yet completed this process must use the link“Create Educator Account” as shown in the screen below.

3. Enter your SSN and Date of Birth to begin creating your User ID and Password. Click OK. Donot use the “Enter” key on your device as it will not advance you to the next step.

4. Enter your personal information including your selection of a User ID and Password, and create

3 Challenge Questions and Answers that can be used to verify your account if your ID or Password should be lost. You must include a current valid email address in your profile as this is how password recovery information and other important correspondence regarding your file will be distributed. If you already have a credential file in CTC Online, you will still be prompted to create a new User ID, Password, and challenge questions before you can proceed.

NOTE: The User ID cannot be changed once you select it so be sure to choose carefully. You will not be able to make any changes to your personal information until you complete the User ID and password process and log into the system using these.

5. After creating your User ID and Password you will go back to the login screen to use your newUser ID and Password. Once logged in, you will first see a screen with a Personal LegalDisclaimer. Click “Next” on that screen to proceed.

6. The screen below will appear where you can verify the information on your personal profile page.Click the “Add or Change Personal Information” button or the “Add or change Address” buttonto update your file as needed.

When you are finished, click Next.

NOTE: You cannot complete a name change online. Use Form 41-NC for this purpose.

8. When you reach the page below, you have two options to print an unofficial copy of your

document.

First, you can use the Print function from your web browser to print this screen with all thedocument details. Some users may need to right click on the screen to bring up a print menu.You can also select CTRL + P from your keyboard to print the page.

For some Firefox users: a preview of the page that looks blank may appear first but all the document details should still print.

7. From your list of documents, select the one you want to print by clicking on the small blue arrowat the front of the row to highlight the row yellow and click on the hyperlinked "DocumentNumber."

9. Your document details will print onto a page as shown.

10. You can also obtain an unofficial copy of your document suitable for framing. Choose the

Email Document button. You will automatically be sent an email attachment of your document you can print. Be sure the email address in your personal profile (see step d) is the one you are currently using. Commission emails may be sent to a SPAM or JUNK folder if the Commission address is not in your Favorites.
