Many waste time and energy
• Worry over things we have no control over• Weather• Accidents• Health• Other people’s lives
• Worry over things we do have control over that aren’t important
• Burning the biscuits• Dirty car/house• Yard• Vanity ‘O Vanity• Greed/Money/the desire to have more and more
What should we be spending our time and energy on?
• James 4:13-17– James tells us that our lives are but a vapor
and that our time on earth is very short
• Psalm 90:10-12– David taught that we should number our days
• How would our lives be different if we lived with a sense of our own mortality?
