HP South Africa has appointed Redington IT

Services as national bench repair service provider

for South AfricaHP PPS Group has appointed Redington IT Services as their sole bench

repair service provider, which will effectively replace the services of

Let Me Repair as of 1 August 2012

Johannesburg, 4 June, 2012 HP PPS group has appointed Redington as the nationalbench repair service provider in South Africa for all printers, notebooks, desktops,

workstations and display monitors.

HP is committed to the continuous improvement of after-sales customer service and

support, and provides customers with various options when submitting defective

products for repair. HP has partnered with a best-in-class service provider to ensure that

users of the companys commercial and consumer products enjoy a trouble-free repair

experience.

In order to ensure that the carry-over process of services does not impact the retail sector

HP has ensured that a phased approach is employed during the carry-over process, the

phased process will work as follows:

(Please take note: these phases only apply to the consumer PSG related products)

Commercial units can be taken to Redington directly from 1 August 2012.

Consumer phases:

Phase 1: Carry-in retailer repairs can be taken to Redington Repair centres from

1st June 2012

Phase 2: Collect at retail repair can be sent to Redington Repair centres from 18th

June 2012

Phase 3: Carry-in end users repairs can be taken to Redington Repair centresfrom 9th July 2012.

Consumer Call centre (0860104771) will only start referring end users and

retailers to Redington from 9th July 2012 for consumer PSG. Phase 1 and 2 will
