Hayward Promise Neighborhood Celebrates National Night Out

On the evening of August 5th, Hayward Promise Neighborhood celebrated National Night

Out at John Muir Center. Attendees of the event were able to receive information on

Hayward Promise Neighborhood programs and enjoyed kid’s interactive learning activities,

fruit smoothie bike blending and were able to participate in a zumba work-out. National

Night Out is an annual event held on the first Tuesday of August to promote involvement in

crime prevention activities and neighborhood camaraderie; sending a message to criminals

letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Neighborhood safety is a key focus area for Hayward Promise Neighborhood (HPN).

Through HPN there is now a Community Service Officer, Alicia Romero, assigned

specifically to the HPN community. Romero works directly with apartment owners/

managers to help keep drugs and other illegal activity off of their property. Join Alicia

for the Jackson Triangle (neighborhood HPN serves) Coffee with a Cop on Saturday,

October 25th from 8:30-10:30 am at John Muir Center: 24823 Soto Rd., Hayward

For questions, contact Alicia Romero: (510) 293-7179 or [email protected]

Destacado Residente de

HPN

Resultado 1: Los niños entran a kinder-

motricidad fina.

• Los niños que asisten a preescolar

tienen mayores puntajes de las pruebas

estandarizadas de kindergarten hasta el

grado 12 comparado con aquellos que

no asisten.

aceptando nuevos estudiantes.

más cuotas. Llene una solicitud en el Centro de

Niños Helen Turner (Salón # 6): 23640 Reed

Way, Hayward o llame al (510) 723- 3880.
