SAP Mini-Master HR

Short Definition of the infotype:• The infotype is used to group related data fields. They provide

structured information, facilitate data entry and allow you to store data for specific periods.For example, the "infotype" 0002 contains personal data (name, date of birth, SIN) for all employees, and "infotype" 0001 contains data on the organizational assignment of employees (company code, employee groups, Timesheet administrator, cost center…).

• Each infotype can contain multiple record demonstrating the effectiveness of information over time (period of validity), thus keeping historical data available.
