Parameter/License Configuration(HSDPA RNC )

The threshold to determine whetherthe service is carried out on HSDPA ornot

DL streaming traffic threshold on HSDPA:Rate threshold for decision to use HS-DSCH tocarry DL PS streaming services. When themaximum DL service rate is higher than or equalto this threshold, the service will be carried on

HS-DSCH. Otherwise, it will be carried on DCH.traffic threshold on HSDPA

Code allocation

-RNC-controlled static or dynamic code allocation is enabledthrough the parameter AllocCodeMode . NodeB-controlleddynamic code allocation is enabled through the parameterDynCodeSw .-The dynamic code allocation controlled by the NodeB ismore flexible than that controlled by the RNC. It shortens theresponse time and saves the Iub signaling used for code

reallocation.

Parameter/License Configuration(HSDPA Cell per RNC)

The Allocate Code Mode is setto Manual, which means the codeallocation will be determined byNode B instead of RNCCode number is valid only if themode is manual.HS-SCCH code number is set as2, this will make the maximumavailable codes left for HSDPA isonly 15 .HSDPA must be activated.

If the Allocation CodeMode is set to manual(as mentioned in previousslide), the Dynamic CodeSwitch must set toOPEN at Node B side toallocate the code.

and HSDPA RRM Package1 must be activated (YES) The Max HS-PDSCH CodeNumber will be determined byhow many of the Local Cell. Eachlocal cell need at least 15 codes.
