Creating an MLS Instance

Machine Learning Service (MLS) helps you quickly find data patterns and construct prediction models

and deploy them as prediction and analysis solutions.

MLS instances must be created to use MLS.

The procedure of creating an MLS instance is as follows:

Four Steps to Create an MLS Instance


Step 2: Create a

virtual private cloud

(VPC).

Step 3: Create a

MapReduce Service

(MRS) cluster.

Step 4: Create an

MLS instance.

Step 1: Log in to the

HUAWEI CLOUD

management

console.

Log In to the HUAWEI

CLOUD Management

Console

1. Click here to log in to the HUAWEI CLO

UD management console.

2. Enter the account name and password

and click Log In.

Create a VPC

1. In the top navigation bar, click

Service List and choose

Network > Virtual Private Cloud.

2. On the Network Console

page, click Create VPC.

1. In the Basic Information area, enter

a VPC name. In the Subnet Settings

area, enter a subnet name. Set other

parameters according to the figure on

the right side.

2. Click Create Now to create the VPC.


Select MapReduce Service

Service List and choose EI Enterprise

Intelligence > MapReduce Service.

2. On the MapReduce Service page,

click Purchase Cluster.


Purchase an MRS Cluster (1)

On the Purchase Cluster page, enter a

cluster name and set other parameters

according to the figure on the right side.

Note:

Set VPC and Subnet to the ones you created

in step 2.

If there is no key pair, click View Key Pair to

create one.

Purchase an MRS Cluster (2)

1. After setting parameters, click Buy Now.

Confirm the order details.

2. Click Submit to purchase the MRS

cluster.

Select Machine

Learning Service

Service List and choose EI

Enterprise Intelligence > Machine

Learning Service.

2. On the MLS Instance

Management page, click Buy MLS

Instance.

Note:

If you use MLS for the first time, submit an

application for the open beta test.

1. On the Buy MLS Instance page,

enter an instance name and set other

parameters according to the figure on

the right side.

2. After setting parameters, click Buy

Now. The Confirm page is displayed.

Note:

Set VPC and Subnet to the ones you

created in step 2.

Set MRS cluster to the one you created

in step 3.

1. On the Confirm page, confirm order

details.

2. Click Submit to create the MLS

instance.
