1.1.1 Differences Between HUAWEI CLOUD China andHUAWEI CLOUD International

HUAWEI CLOUD has two websites: HUAWEI CLOUD China and HUAWEI CLOUDInternational.

● HUAWEI CLOUD China is intended for customers in the Chinese mainland. Fordetails about how to register a HUAWEI CLOUD China account, see AccountRegistration Process.

● HUAWEI CLOUD International is intended for global organizations andenterprises, and overseas branches of Chinese enterprises. For details abouthow to register a HUAWEI CLOUD International account, see AccountRegistration Process. Table 1-1 shows the differences between the twowebsites.

1.1.2 Account Registration Process

Procedure

Step 1 Go to the HUAWEI CLOUD homepage, and click Register in the upper rightcorner.

Step 2 Enter a mobile number and click Send Code.

● If the mobile number has not been used to register any HUAWEI CLOUDaccount, or it has been used to register fewer than three accounts, enter theverification code, set a password, and select I have read and agree to theHUAWEI CLOUD Customer Agreement and Privacy Statement.

● If the mobile number has been used to register three HUAWEI CLOUDaccounts, it can no longer be used to register a new account.

Step 3 Click Register.

A message is displayed, indicating that the account is created successfully.

1.2 Logging In

Procedure

Step 1 Go to the HUAWEI CLOUD homepage.

Step 2 In the upper right corner of the page, click Log In.

Step 3 Enter the account name (or email address) and password, and click Log In.

If you failed to log in for three consecutive times, you need to complete verification byentering a CAPTCHA code.

If your mobile number has been used to register multiple HUAWEI CLOUD accounts, youcannot use it for login. Use your account name or email address instead.

1.3 Resetting the PasswordIf you fail to log in because your password is forgotten, you can reset thepassword.




If your password is forgotten, you cannot retrieve it but can only reset it.

Procedure

Step 1 Go to the HUAWEI CLOUD homepage.

Step 2 In the upper right corner of the page, click Log In.

Step 3 In the Account Login area, click Forgot Password.

Step 4 Verify your account.● Accout/Email verification

a. Enter the account name or email address and CAPTCHA code.b. Click Next.

● Mobile number verification

a. Click Mobile Number Verification.b. Enter the mobile number and CAPTCHA code.c. Click Next.

Step 5 Verify your identity.● Email address verification

a. Select Email address and click Send Code.b. Enter the email verification code.c. Click Next.

● Mobile number verification

a. Select Mobile number and click Send Code.b. Enter the SMS verification code.c. Click Next.

● If both your mobile number and email address are unavailable, contact thecustomer service for assistance.

Step 6 Set a new password and click Next.

The password is reset successfully.

1.4 Logging OutFor account security purposes, log out of My Account after completing operations.

ProcedureHover over the username in the upper right corner and choose Log Out from thedrop-down list.

Then you are automatically redirected to the login page.




1.5 Deleting an Account

1.5.1 Terms and Conditions on Deletion of HUAWEI CLOUDAccount

The Terms and Conditions on Deletion of HUAWEI CLOUD Account ("theseTerms") governs deletion of your HUAWEI CLOUD account and related matters.

Please read these Terms carefully before submitting an application for accountdeletion. If you have any questions, please contact HUAWEI CLOUD customerservice.

Your acceptance of these Terms and clicking the Submit button indicates that youhave read and fully understood all the content of these Terms and indicates thatyou believe deleting your HUAWEI CLOUD account can help achieve yourexpected purposes.

After you submit an application for account deletion, HUAWEI CLOUD will checkyour account in accordance with these Terms and relevant instructions on theconsole. If your account meets the account deletion conditions, HUAWEI CLOUDwill notify you of the result and start the account deletion process after yourconfirmation. This process cannot be withdrawn or revoked. If your account doesnot meet the conditions, HUAWEI CLOUD will notify you of the result and theaccount deletion procedure will be automatically terminated.

1. Account Deletion Conditions

a. Your HUAWEI CLOUD account cannot be deleted if any of the followingconditions exists, except that you have reached consensus with HUAWEICLOUD in this respect:

▪ Overdue payments, over-issued invoices, pending payments, orremaining balance.

▪ Contracts pending for performance, active orders, resources in use, orreserved instances.




▪ Applications in progress (including but not limited to applications ofnew orders, unsubscriptions/withdrawals, applications for joiningHUAWEI CLOUD ecosystem programs, etc).

▪ Your account has been associated with a HUAWEI CLOUD ecosystempartner.

▪ Your account has been associated with an enterprise master accountor member account.

b. Your account does not have unpaid taxes and there are no unfulfilledobligations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

c. Your account has not violated any applicable laws or regulations oragreements signed with HUAWEI CLOUD, unless you have reachedconsensus with HUAWEI CLOUD in connection with related matters ifapplicable.

2. Account Deletion Procedure

a. Self-checkBefore you submit the application for account deletion, please checkwhether your account meets the account deletion conditions specified insection 1 of these Terms; otherwise, your account deletion process maybe terminated due to failure to meet the deletion conditions.

b. Deletion method selectionFor account security purposes, only you can delete your HUAWEI CLOUDaccount. If the account does not meet the conditions specified in section1 of these Terms and you still want to delete it, you may contact HUAWEICLOUD customer service.

c. Account deletion process

i. Application submissionAfter confirming that the conditions specified in section 1 of theseTerms have been met, log in to the HUAWEI CLOUD website, go tothe My Account console, click Close Account, read these Termscarefully before acceptance, and submit the account deletionapplication.

ii. CheckHUAWEI CLOUD will automatically check your account in accordancewith the account deletion conditions.

iii. Check Result Notification○ Passed

If your account meets the account deletion conditions, HUAWEICLOUD will notify you of the result by email, SMS, or otherreasonable methods and start the account deletion process.



The checking of your account in accordance with the conditionsabove is preliminary and to the extent of formalities review.Compliance with the account deletion conditions does not meanthat HUAWEI CLOUD materially accepts the result or waives anyrights entitled by laws or agreements, nor does HUAWEI CLOUDaffirm that any operations and responsibilities arising out of youraccount before the deletion process are exempted or mitigated,including but not limited to any overdue payments, entrustedpayments, and unpaid taxes.

○ FailedIf your account does not meet the account deletion conditions,HUAWEI CLOUD will notify you of the failed conditions by email,SMS, or other reasonable methods. The account deletionprocedure will be automatically terminated and will not berestarted. If you still want to delete the account, you may submitanother application.

d. In the event that you fulfill the conditions above, if your HUAWEI CLOUDaccount is listed in complaints reported by third parties, is investigated bygovernment agencies, is involved in a litigation or arbitration procedure,or fails to meet the conditions for account deletion after the accountcheck, HUAWEI CLOUD reserves the right to terminate the accountdeletion process without your consent before the deletion procedure isformally completed ("retention period").

3. Retention Period

a. HUAWEI CLOUD has set up a retention period for account closure inaccordance with industry standards, relevant laws, regulations, and therequirements of national administrative, judicial, and law enforcementagencies. The retention period has been provided on the HUAWEI CLOUDwebsite, and the period starts once your account is closed.

b. During the retention period, you cannot use HUAWEI CLOUD services oravail any rights granted by the corresponding SLA.However, you can continue using your account to log in to the HUAWEICLOUD website and perform the following operations:

▪ Query historical bills and settle unpaid bills.

▪ Apply to restore the account so you can use HUAWEI CLOUD servicesagain.

▪ Delete the account immediately after all outstanding amounts arepaid.

c. During the retention period, HUAWEI CLOUD will delete the accountdata saved in HUAWEI CLOUD, except as otherwise specified in theseTerms or required by laws and regulations or national administrative,judicial, or law enforcement agencies.

4. Legal Consequences of Account Deletion

a. Your account deletion procedure will start after you confirm that youaccept these Terms.

b. When the account deletion procedure is completed (the retention periodends or you delete the account during the retention period), all related



contractual relationships between you and HUAWEI CLOUD areterminated. The consequences of account deletion include but are notlimited to the following:

▪ You will not be able to use this account to log in to the HUAWEICLOUD website, app, etc.

▪ You will not be able to access the HUAWEI CLOUD console.

▪ You will not be able to perform any operations that require theaccount access.

▪ You will not be able to retrieve the personal information, transactionrecords, business data, and historical information under the account.

▪ You will not be able to use HUAWEI CLOUD services.

Notwithstanding article 4 of these Terms, the deletion of your account doesnot mean that all your account operations and responsibilities beforeaccount deletion are exempted or mitigated.

c. At the end of the day on which your account is deleted, HUAWEICLOUD has provided services in accordance with contracts and activeorders reached between the parties, without breaching any contracts.

d. HUAWEI CLOUD will delete your data and immediately stop collecting,storing, and using your personal information and other data, except asotherwise required by applicable laws and regulations or industrystandards. For example, HUAWEI CLOUD will retain correspondinginvoice data for tax compliance purposes, and keep the transactioninformation between you and HUAWEI CLOUD to comply withrelevant e-commerce laws.

e. Account balance handlingAfter you pay all outstanding amounts, you need to withdraw theremaining account balance.

f. The account cannot be recovered once it is deleted. Please back up allaccount-related business information and data before you delete youraccount. During the retention period, you can query historical bills andsettle unpaid bills, but you cannot access or use cloud services, andyour cloud service resources will be released. When the retentionperiod ends, HUAWEI CLOUD will take your account back and clearthe account data. HUAWEI CLOUD will not be liable for any loss ofdata or information caused therefrom.

5. Others

a. These Terms serve as an integral part of the HUAWEI CLOUD CustomerAgreement. For matters not mentioned herein, please refer to therelevant clauses of the HUAWEI CLOUD Customer Agreement.

b. These Terms only govern your deletion of your HUAWEI CLOUD account,without prejudice to the deletion of your account in accordance withapplicable laws or agreements reached between you and HUAWEICLOUD (for example, in the event of "suspension" and/or "termination"under the HUAWEI CLOUD Customer Agreement).



c. If your account deletion causes any loss to HUAWEI CLOUD, you shallcompensate for the loss and exempt HUAWEI CLOUD and its directors,employees, agents, partners, and suppliers from any third-party liabilitiesarising therefrom.

d. The Chinese version of these Terms shall prevail.

1.5.2 Account Deletion ProcessYou can delete your account on the Basic Information page. Close the accountbefore you delete it.

A retention period starts after the account is closed. During this period, theaccount data saved in HUAWEI CLOUD will be cleared and cannot be recovered.However, you can still use the account to log in to HUAWEI CLOUD and viewaccount and expenditure information. After the retention period ends, the accountwill be automatically deleted and can no longer be used.

If you are certain that the account is no longer needed, you can delete it 24 hoursafter you close it. After the account is deleted, it can no longer be used to accessHUAWEI CLOUD, and the account data will be cleared permanently. Exercisecaution when performing this operation.

Closing an Account

Step 1 Go to the Basic Information page.

Step 2 Expand the Delete Account area in the lower part of the page, and click CloseAccount.

The Close Account page is displayed.

Step 3 Read the Terms and Conditions on Deletion of HUAWEI CLOUD Account andselect I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions on Deletion ofHUAWEI CLOUD Account and understand that my account XXX will be closedand my data in HUAWEI CLOUD will be deleted and cannot be recovered.Then select the reason for deleting the account.

Step 4 Click Next.

Step 5 Click Send Code, and enter the received verification code in the text box.

If you do not receive an SMS or email verification code, submit a service ticket to changethe mobile number or email address.

Step 6 Click OK.

The Account Check page is displayed. The system automatically checks theaccount and its financial status, orders, and resources, and displays the result onthe page.

If you have already performed the account check but did not close the account, click ViewLast Check Result on the Basic Information page. Then the system displays the accountcheck result.

Step 7 Click Close Account.

The account is closed successfully.

If you need to use the account again, click Restore Account on the Basic Informationpage.

Deleting the Account


Step 2 Click Delete Account in the lower part of the page.

The page for identity verification is displayed.

Step 3 Click Send Code.

Step 4 Enter the received verification code and click OK.

Step 5 The system displays the check result of the account. Select I understand thatafter the account is deleted, I can no longer use it to access HUAWEI CLOUD,and my data saved in HUAWEI CLOUD will be automatically cleared, and clickConfirm Deletion to delete the account.

The account is deleted successfully.

1.6 Viewing Account InformationAccounts contain true information about individuals or enterprises and are usedfor logging in to the HUAWEI CLOUD official website. Customers' orders and feesare associated with their accounts.

You can view and change the account name, enterprise name, mobile number,email address, password, and contact address on the Basic Information page.

1.7 Changing Account NameYou can change your account name on the Basic Information page. The accountname can be changed for three times in a year.

Procedure


Step 2 Click Edit next to Account Name.

The Edit Account Name dialog box is displayed.





Step 3 Enter a new account name.

● The new account name must be unique.● The account name is a string of 6 to 32 characters starting with a letter, which can

contain only letters, digits, and underscores (_).

Step 4 Click OK.

The system displays a message indicating that the account name is changedsuccessfully.

1.8 Changing the Mobile Number

Procedure


Step 2 Click Edit next to Mobile Number.

The Change Mobile Number page is displayed.




Step 3 Verify your identity.● Mobile number verification

a. Click Verify next to SMS.b. Click Send Code, enter the SMS verification code, and click Next.

● Email address verification

a. Click Verify next to Email.b. Click Send Code, enter the email verification code, and click Next.



If both your mobile number and email address are unavailable, go to the CreateService Ticket page, choose User Account > User Account - Account InfoModification, and then click Create Service Ticket to submit a service ticket.– Upload the materials required for your account type and account role:

▪ Enterprise (upload the required materials of the legal representative or theauthorized person.)Legal representative: Copies of the enterprise certificates, photos of the imagepage and national emblem page of the legal representative's ID card, and aphoto of the legal representative holding the ID cardAuthorized person: Copies of the enterprise certificates and an authorizationletter with the company seal (Letter of Authorization), photos of the imagepage and national emblem page of the authorized person's ID card, and aphoto of the authorized person holding the ID card

▪ IndividualPhotos of the image page and national emblem page of the ID card, and aphoto of the individual holding the ID card (The ID card information must beconsistent with that submitted for real-name authentication.)

– After your application is approved, HUAWEI CLOUD will replace the original mobilenumber with the new one specified in the service ticket. You can use the newmobile number to reset the password by clicking Forgot Password? on the loginpage.

– If your account has been associated with a HUAWEI CLOUD partner throughadvance prepayment or is in other special conditions, HUAWEI CLOUD customerservice will further verify your account. Please provide the materials required bycustomer service.

● HUAWEI CLOUD app verification

a. Click Verify next to Facial Recognition.b. Use HUAWEI CLOUD app to scan the QR code.

You can use facial recognition to change your mobile number only after you havecompleted individual real-name authentication by scanning the QR code.

Step 4 Enter a new mobile number, click Send Code, and enter the SMS verification code.

Step 5 Click OK.

The system displays a message indicating that the mobile number is changedsuccessfully.

1.9 Changing Email AddressStep 1 Go to the Basic Information page.

Step 2 Click Edit next to Email Address.

The Change Email Address page is displayed.

a. Click Verify next to SMS.b. Click Send Code, enter the SMS verification code, and click Next.

● Email address verification

a. Click Verify next to Email.b. Click Send Code, enter the email verification code, and click Next.



Step 4 Enter a new email address, click Send Code, and enter the email verification code.

Step 5 Click OK.

1.10 Modifying Contact InformationYou can modify the contact address, name, mobile number, and email address ofthe contact person.

Procedure


Step 2 In the Contact Information area, click Edit next to Contact Address to set thecontact address.

You can click Edit again to change the contact address.




Step 3 Click Edit next to Contact Details to set the name, mobile number, and emailaddress of the contact person.

You can click Edit again to change the contact information.

1.11 Modifying Interests

Procedure


Step 2 In the My Interests area, click Edit next to Industry.

Step 3 Select your industry.




Step 4 Click Save.

If the industry you select has a secondary industry, you are required to select a secondaryone.

2.1 Differences Between Individual Real-NameAuthentication and Enterprise Real-NameAuthentication

Individual real-name authentication and enterprise real-name authenticationdiffer greatly in account ownership:

● If the account type is Individual, the authenticated account belongs to anindividual.

● If the account type is Enterprise, the authenticated account belongs to anenterprise.

Individual real-name authentication applies to individual users. (Students mustcomplete real-name authentication before applying for student authentication.)

Enterprise real-name authentication applies to enterprises, party andgovernmental offices, public institutions, private non-enterprise organizations,social organizations, and individual businesses.

The account type selection is crucial to your account ownership. For example,inconvenience or economic losses may be brought to an enterprise user whocompletes the individual real-name authentication when the account owner is

changed, the account is in arrears, or account disputes occur. Exercise cautionwhen you select the account type.

2.2 Real-Name Authentication Entry1. Log in to HUAWEI CLOUD.2. In the drop-down list of your account name, click My Account.

The My Account console is displayed.

3. Click Real-Name Authentication in the navigation pane on the left, select anaccount type (individual or enterprise), and perform real-name authenticationas prompted.

2.3 Individual Real-Name Authentication

2.3.1 Individual Real-Name AuthenticationIndividual real-name authentication can be performed using an individual bankcard or certificate or by scanning a QR code. The following figure shows theoverall process.

The individual bank card authentication is recommended because it is easier andquicker to operate.









2.3.2 Individual Bank Card AuthenticationIndividual users can use bank cards to perform real-name authentication byentering their bank card information. Personal debit cards and credit cards aresupported. Individual users can enter bank card information for real-nameauthentication.

Procedure

Step 1 Go to the Real-Name Authentication page and select Individual.

Step 2 Select Individual Bank Card Authentication.

Step 3 Enter bank card information as prompted.

Step 4 Capture a facial image.

To meet the requirements of national ministries on Internet service supervision, afacial image must be uploaded to verify your identity for individual bank cardauthentication.

1. Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code in the Facial Image area on theIndividual Bank Card Authentication page. (The QR code in the precedingimage is only an example.)The Bank Card Authentication page is displayed on the mobile phone.

2. Tap Take Photo Now to take a facial image.3. Tap Upload.

The facial image is uploaded successfully and is automatically synchronized tothe website page.

Step 5 Click Submit for Review.

The system displays a message indicating that the real-name authentication issuccessful.

If the authentication fails, enter the bank card information again according to the errorprompt.

2.3.3 Important Notes for Individual Bank CardAuthentication

● The individual name, ID card number, bank card number, and the mobilenumber bound to the bank card must be matched.

● If you use a card issued by the Bank of Communications, Beijing Bank, Bankof Shanghai, Guangdong Development Bank, Shanghai Pudong DevelopmentBank, or Ping An Bank to perform real-name authentication, you mustsubscribe to UnionPay online payment for the card first. Alternatively, you canuse a card issued by other banks. Personal debit cards and credit cards aresupported.

● Besides errors prompted by the system, individual bank card authenticationfailure is usually caused by the following:– The cardholder name and cardholder's ID card number do not match.– The full name and the cardholder name do not match.– The bank card number and reserved mobile number do not match. In this

case, you are advised to go to the bank counter to check whether themobile number bound to the bank card is consistent with the enteredmobile number.

2.3.4 QR Code AuthenticationDuring QR code authentication, you need to take a video of yourself.

Use the front camera to record a video for about 3 seconds while nodding yourhead 15 to 30 degrees once. After the video is successfully recorded, the systemperforms liveness detection and identity verification. The authentication iscompleted if the detection and verification are successful.



Do not use other videos for real-name authentication. If you take a video of others insteadof yourself, the system will consider the authentication to be fake or abnormal, and willrecord the exception and freeze your account.

Procedure


Step 2 Select QR Code Authentication.

The QR Code Authentication dialog box is displayed with a QR code.

Step 3 Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code in the QR Code Authenticationdialog box. (The following image is only an example.)

The HUAWEI CLOUD QR Code Authentication page is then displayed on thephone.

Step 4 Follow the instructions displayed on the phone to complete real-nameauthentication.

● After the real-name authentication is completed, the authentication result is updated onthe Real-Name Authentication page on the PC.

● When an authentication request is under review or has failed, you can perform real-name authentication again. In this case, the new authentication information will replacethe previously submitted information.

● Authentication will fail if the number of authentication requests exceeds the maximumallowed limit, or the interval between authentication requests is shorter than thespecified minimum interval.

2.3.5 Individual Certificate AuthenticationIndividual users can use the following personal certificates to perform the real-name authentication: passport, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and MacaoResidents, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents (also known as "TaiwanCompatriot Permit"), Residence Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents,Residence Permit for Taiwan Residents, and non-Chinese driver license.

This section uses the passport authentication as an example. The procedures forauthentication using other certificate types are the same.

Procedure





Step 2 Select Individual Certificate Authentication.

Step 3 Enter the individual certificate information as prompted.

If the certificate type is set to Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and MacaoResidents, you only need to enter the first nine digits of the certificate number.

Step 4 Click Submit and wait for the real-name authentication result.

The real-name authentication review completes in three working days. The authenticationimmediately takes effect after the submitted information is approved.

If HUAWEI CLOUD finds a problem during the review, HUAWEI CLOUD will notify you of re-authentication.

2.3.6 Important Notes for Individual CertificateAuthentication

● Your certificate must be within its validity period.

● The photos must be clearly visible.

● The entered name and certificate ID must be the same as those displayed inthe photos.

● The information in the photo of you holding the certificate (front) must beclearly visible. The certificate holder must be bareheaded, with all facialfeatures visible.

● The supported photo file types include JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, and PDF. Afile to be uploaded cannot exceed 10 MB. The following special characters arenot allowed in a file name: \/:*?"<>;|

● A certificate number can be used for authenticating three accounts.

2.4 Enterprise Real-Name Authentication

2.4.1 Enterprise Real-Name Authentication ProcessEnterprise real-name authentication includes business account authentication andenterprise certificate authentication. The process is as follows:

● For details about authentication with business accounts, see BusinessAccount Authentication.

● For details about authentication with enterprise certificates, see EnterpriseCertificate Authentication.

Business account authentication is recommended because of its easy operationsand short time required.

2.4.2 Business Account AuthenticationA business account of your enterprise is required for business accountauthentication. HUAWEI CLOUD will deposit a random amount of money to theprovided account. After you correctly enter the deposit amount on the BusinessAccount Authentication page, the authentication is completed.







Procedure

Step 1 Go to the Real-Name Authentication page and select Enterprise.

Step 2 Select Business Account Authentication.

Step 3 Enter the enterprise and business bank account information as prompted.

The title of the special value-added tax (VAT) invoices is your organization name. Checkwith the financial personnel in your enterprise to ensure that the organization name isconsistent with the registration information reserved in the tax authority.

Step 4 Click Next to confirm the entered information.




Click Previous to change the incorrect information, if any.

Step 5 Click Submit.

If the information is submitted successfully, HUAWEI CLOUD deposits a randomamount of money (¥0.01–¥0.99) to your business account. The money will arrivein your account within 2 hours.

Step 6 After the money is arrived, check how much was deposited by contacting thebusiness account administrator or using online banking, mobile banking, or at thebank counter. Enter the deposit amount on the Real-Name Authentication pageand click Submit. After you enter the correct and valid deposit amount, theauthentication is completed.

A business account authentication application is valid for eight days. If the authentication isnot completed after eight days, submit a new application.

2.4.3 Important Notes for Business Account Authentication● The enterprise name must be the full name of the enterprise. The bank

account name must be the full name of the enterprise. Otherwise, HUAWEICLOUD cannot transfer money to this account.

● After you submit authentication information, HUAWEI CLOUD deposits arandom amount of money (¥0.01–¥0.99) to your business account.

● Bank account authentication mode can be used up to three times. Ifauthentication in this mode has failed for three times, use the enterprisecertificate authentication mode for real-name authentication.

2.4.4 Enterprise Certificate AuthenticationYou need to provide related enterprise information (including the enterprisecertificate, name and ID card number of the legal representative, ID card of thelegal representative, or ID card and authorization letter of the authorized person)for enterprise certificate authentication. The authentication takes effect after thesubmitted information is approved.

Procedure

Step 1 Go to the Real-Name Authentication page and select Enterprise.

Step 2 Select Enterprise Certificate Authentication.

Step 3 Enter your enterprise information and upload attachments as prompted.● The information shown in Figure 2-2 is required for a Legal representative.

If you use a business license for authentication, the system automaticallyrecognizes the information on the license. You only need to confirm thelicense information.




To complete the authentication, ensure that:– The photo of the business license has no watermark.– The legal representative name in the business license is the same as the name on

the legal representative's ID card.– The legal representative is over 18 years old.– The ID card of the legal representative is valid.

● The information shown in Figure 2-3 is required for an Authorized person.An authorized person is required to upload an authorization letter. To uploadan authorization letter, download the authorization letter template, enter therequired information, and then upload the authorization letter stamped withthe enterprise seal.

The title of the special VAT invoices is your organization name. Check with the financialpersonnel in your enterprise to ensure that the organization name is consistent with theregistration information reserved in the tax authority.

Step 4 Click Submit and wait for the real-name authentication result.

2.4.5 Important Notes for Enterprise CertificateAuthentication

● The enterprise name entered for authentication must be the same as thename on the certificate.

● The photos must be clearly visible.● An authorization letter with an official seal is required if the ID card of the

legal representative cannot be provided. The enterprise name displayed onthe seal must be the same as the submitted enterprise name.

● The supported photo file types include JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, and PDF. A fileto be uploaded cannot exceed 10 MB. The following special characters are notallowed in a file name: \/:*?"<>;|



● A certificate number can be used for authenticating up to six accounts.

2.4.6 Alternatives to a Unified Social Credit CodeThe enterprise certificate authentication requires the unified social credit code ofyour enterprise. If your enterprise does not have a Three in One or Five in Onecertificate, which means a unified social credit code is not available, you can enterthe certificate number according to the table below and upload the scannedcopies of enterprise certificates.

2.5 Individual Real-Name Re-Authentication

2.5.1 Individual Real-Name Re-Authentication ProcessAn individual account can re-perform the real-name authentication to change toanother individual account or an enterprise account. The process is as follows:



● For details about changing to another individual account, see Changing toAnother Individual Account.

● For details about changing to an enterprise account, see Changing to anEnterprise Account.

● Before the real-name authentication change takes effect (is approved), the original real-name authentication information is still valid.

● Between the time when you submit the real-name authentication change request andthe time when the change takes effect (is approved), the new outstanding amount andthe newly purchased resources belong to the new entity.

● Between the time when you submit a real-name authentication change request and thetime when the request is rejected, the new outstanding amount and the newlypurchased resources belong to the original entity.

2.5.2 Changing to Another Individual AccountIf an individual account wants to be re-authenticated as another individual, theindividual account user must fill in an application form and upload the certifiedmaterials used for the last authentication and the materials required for the newauthentication.

Important Notes● An individual account must not be in arrears if the individual account wants

to be re-authenticated as another individual. Pay off the arrears before re-authentication.

● Individual users can use the following personal certificates to perform thereal-name re-authentication: Resident Identity Card, passport, Mainland TravelPermit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, Mainland Travel Permit forTaiwan Residents, Residence Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents,Residence Permit for Taiwan Residents, and non-Chinese driver license.

● Both parties must sign on the application form and upload the certifiedmaterials and new materials to be certified as prompted.

● For the original materials, it is optional to upload the invoices, remittanceproofs, or payment record screenshots. The more materials you upload, theeasier for you to complete the new authentication.

● If you used a personal bank card to perform the last authentication, the IDcard must be included in the original materials and be uploaded.







Procedure

Step 1 Go to the Real-Name Authentication page and click perform real-nameauthentication again in the upper part of the page.

The system displays a message asking you to confirm the re-authentication.

Step 2 Click OK.

Step 3 On the Real-Name Authentication page, select Individual.

Step 4 Enter the new personal information and upload the certified materials used forthe last authentication and materials used for the new authentication.

The change application template is in the Word format and cannot be directly uploaded.Please convert the file format to PDF or scan the file before uploading.

Step 5 Click Submit. The review progress page is displayed.

The real-name authentication review completes in three working days. The changeimmediately takes effect after the submitted information is approved.

2.5.3 Changing to an Enterprise Account

2.5.3.1 Using an Enterprise Business Account for Re-AuthenticationAn enterprise business account is required to change an individual account to anenterprise account. HUAWEI CLOUD will deposit a random amount of money tothe provided business account. After you correctly enter the deposit amount onthe Business Account Authentication page, the authentication is completed.

Important Notes● An individual account must not be in arrears if the user wants to be re-

authenticated as an enterprise. Pay off the arrears before re-authentication.● The enterprise name must be the full name of the enterprise. The bank

account name must be the full name of the enterprise. Otherwise, HUAWEICLOUD cannot transfer money to this account.

● After you submit authentication information, HUAWEI CLOUD deposits arandom amount of money (¥0.01–¥0.99) to your business account.

● Bank account authentication mode can be used up to three times. Ifauthentication in this mode has failed for three times, use the enterprisecertificate authentication mode for real-name authentication.

Step 9 After the money is arrived, check how much was deposited by contacting thebusiness account administrator or using online banking, mobile banking, or at thebank counter. In the New Real-Name Information area of the Real-NameAuthentication page, click here, enter the deposit amount, and click Submit.After you enter the correct and valid deposit amount, the authentication iscompleted.

The deposit amount is valid within 48 hours. If it expires, submit your authenticationinformation again.

2.5.3.2 Using an Enterprise Certificate for Re-Authentication

Enterprise information is required to change an individual account to an enterpriseaccount using enterprise certificate authentication. The authentication iscompleted after the submitted information is approved.

authenticated as an enterprise. Pay off the arrears before re-authentication.● The enterprise name entered for authentication must be the same as the

name on the certificate.

To upload an authorization letter, obtain the authorizationletter template from the authorization letter upload page, fill in the requiredinformation, and then upload the authorization letter stamped with theenterprise seal.

Step 8 Click Submit.

Step 9 Click Send Code, enter the received verification code in the text box, and thenclick OK.

If the verification code entered in Step 4 is correct, you do not need to obtain a verificationcode again. The review page is then displayed.

2.6 Enterprise Real-Name Re-Authentication

2.6.1 Enterprise Real-Name Re-Authentication ProcessAn enterprise account can perform the real-name re-authentication to change thecompany entity or company name. The process is as follows:



● For details about changing the company entity, see Changing the CompanyEntity.

● For details about changing the company name, see Changing the CompanyName.

● Before the real-name authentication change takes effect (is approved), the original real-name authentication information is still valid.

● Between the time when you submit the real-name authentication change request andthe time when the change takes effect (is approved), the new outstanding amount andthe newly purchased resources belong to the new entity.

● Between the time when you submit a real-name authentication change request and thetime when the request is rejected, the new outstanding amount and the newlypurchased resources belong to the original entity.

● If an enterprise master or member account needs to change the real-nameauthentication, the re-authentication has the following restrictions:

● If the master account has invited another account for association but the invitationhas not been accepted, neither of the accounts can perform re-authentication.

● If the master and member accounts belong to the same legal person, the memberaccount cannot perform the re-authentication separately.

● If the master and member accounts belong to different legal persons and theequity certificate is being reviewed, the accounts cannot perform re-authentication.

● If the master and member accounts belong to different legal persons and theequity certificate has been approved, the company name can be changed for theaccounts, but the company entity cannot.

● After the master account completes the re-authentication, the information aboutthe member accounts that belong to the same legal person as the memberaccount is synchronized with the master account's information.

2.6.2 Changing the Company EntityIf the company entity is changed, the owner of resources and funds is changed. Tochange the company entity, the user needs to fill in the re-authenticationapplication form and upload the certified materials used for the lastauthentication and the materials used for the re-authentication.

Important Notes● An enterprise account must not be in arrears if the user wants to change the

company entity. Top up the account before changing the company entity.

● You need to stamp on the application form with the seals of both enterpriseparties and upload the certified materials and new materials to be certified asprompted.







Procedure



Step 2 Click OK.

Step 3 Select Company entity.

Step 4 Fill in the new enterprise information and upload the certified materials used forthe last authentication and the materials used for the new authentication.

● The change application template is in the Word format and cannot be directly uploaded.Please convert the file format to PDF or scan the file before uploading.

● The title of the special VAT invoices is your organization name. Check with the financialpersonnel in your enterprise to ensure that the organization name is consistent with theregistration information reserved in the tax authority.

2.6.3 Changing the Company NameIf the company name is changed, only the company name is changed. If anenterprise account re-performs the real-name authentication to change thecompany name, the user needs to fill in Statement of Commitment, enter the newcompany information, and upload required materials for the authentication.

Important Notes● The company certificate number cannot be changed.● You must stamp on Statement of Commitment with the seal of the company,

enter the new company information, and upload the materials used for thenew authentication.

2.7 Student Authentication

2.7.1 Student Authentication ProcessAfter completing individual real-name authentication, students can apply forstudent authentication. Students who have completed the student authenticationcan enjoy support policies and promotion activities provided by HUAWEI CLOUD.

2.7.2 Important Notes for Student Authentication● You must complete individual real-name authentication before applying for

student authentication.● Only individual accounts can apply for student authentication.● To ensure that you complete student authentication, confirm that the

information you enter is consistent with the information on the CHSI website(https://www.chsi.com.cn/en/). Once you are found cheating, or buying/sellingthe student authentication preferences, HUAWEI CLOUD will have the right torevoke the preferences and stop issuing coupons, and will reserve the right totake further legal actions.

● The student card must contain the following information: your name, yourphoto, birth date, school name, major, year of enrollment, year of graduation(or length of schooling, effective time), and must be stamped with the schoolseal.

● If the current time has exceeded the certified graduation time, the studentauthentication information will become invalid and you will no longer enjoyrelated preferences.

● The supported photo file types include JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, and PDF. The fileto be uploaded cannot exceed 4 MB. The file name (including the extension)can contain a maximum of 100 characters. The following special charactersare not allowed: \/:*?"<>;|

2.7.3 Student Real-Name Re-AuthenticationAfter a student submits a second real-name authentication request, the originalstudent authentication information will become invalid. The studentauthentication result is subject to the new real-name authentication.



Important Notes● Each ID card can be used by only one user for student authentication.● Student authentication information can be changed for more than one time.● When a user performs student re-authentication, the last student

authentication information is displayed on the authentication page. The usercan directly modify the authentication information and submit it for studentre-authentication.

3.1.1 PrecautionsCustomers can contact HUAWEI CLOUD partners to obtain invitation links or QRcodes. Then customers can click the links or scan the QR codes to complete theregistration and association. The associated customers can buy products at thediscounts offered to their partners.

Note the following:

● Each customer can be associated with only one partner.● A customer with the HUAWEI CLOUD account in arrears cannot be associated

with any partner.● A customer cannot be associated with a partner if the customer has signed a

special contract with HUAWEI CLOUD, such as an offline directly-signedcontract, authorized telemarketing contract with discounts, and directly-signed special offer contract.

● An enterprise member account can be associated with a partner by resellermodel only after it is dissociated from its enterprise master account.

● An enterprise master account can be associated with a partner by resellermodel only after it dissociates its member accounts.

● When the customer's HUAWEI CLOUD account has a balance (withoutrewards for top-ups) and the value of outstanding invoices is equal to or lessthan 2000 RMB, the customer can choose to retain the balance (bytransferring the balance to the partner's subaccount) or withdraw the balance(by contacting customer service or submitting a service ticket) before beingassociated with a partner by prepayment model.

● After a customer is associated with a partner by prepayment model, thecoupons in the customer's HUAWEI CLOUD account are invisible andunavailable. After the customer is disassociated from the partner, the couponsbecome visible and available again.

● If a customer account has a cash consumption record and the customer is notpre-registered offline by salesperson, the customer account cannot beassociated with any partner.

● When a customer belongs to the authorized sales support center, thecustomer cannot be associated with any partner.

● A customer with a balance in prepaid cards cannot be associated with apartner by prepayment model.

● A customer with an internal HUAWEI CLOUD account cannot be associatedwith any partner.

● HUAWEI CLOUD customers whose reserved instances are not expired cannotbe associated with any partner by prepayment model.

3.1.2 Clicking the Invitation Link to Associate with the Partner

Procedure

Step 1 Click the invitation link sent by the partner.

Step 2 Read the Instructions for Associating with a HUAWEI CLOUD Partner and select Ihave read and agree to the terms and conditions.

3.2 Disassociating from a PartnerYou can disassociate your account from a partner in My Account.



1. To avoid frequent partner change, you can submit an application for canceling theassociation only once within three months.

2. If you have an effective special contact, contact your partner to process the contact andthen cancel the association relationship.

3. For customers associated with the partner by referral model, they cannot apply todisassociate from the partner in the following scenarios:

● The account has overdue payments. Top up the account to pay the outstandingamounts.

● The account has orders waiting to be paid by the partner. Cancel the orders orcontact the partner to pay the orders.

4. For customers associated with the partner by prepayment model, they cannot apply todisassociate from the partner in the following scenarios:

● The customer has been associated with an enterprise master account or memberaccount. Dissociate from the account before disassociating from the partner.

● The account has overdue payments. Contact the partner to allocate money to writeoff the arrears.

● The customer has a valid reserved instance. Unsubscribe from the reservedinstance.

Procedure

Step 1 Log in to HUAWEI CLOUD.

Step 2 In the drop-down list of your account name, click Basic Information.

The My Partner page is displayed.

Step 3 Click Disassociate.

You can also click Operation Log to view the operation records of the association betweenyou and the partner.

Step 4 If the account passes the check, select I understand the preceding statementand confirm to disassociate from the partner account, and click Disassociate.




If the account fails the check, handle the failed items as prompted. Then check the accountagain.

Step 5 Click Send Code, enter the verification code, and click OK.

The system displays a message indicating that the application for canceling theassociation with the partner is submitted successfully. After your partner processesthe application, you will be notified of the processing result at first time.

5.1 Using PrivilegesOn the My Privilege page, customers can claim free service packages provided byHUAWEI CLOUD, view the claimed prizes, and select recipients of their prizes.

Claiming Free Service Packages

Step 1 Go to the My Privileges page.

Step 2 Click the Free Tier tab.

Step 3 Locate the package to be claimed, and click Claim in the Operation column.

Then, claim the free service package on the displayed page.

Each free service package is open only to a limited number of customers. Please claim it intime.

Step 1 Go to the My Privileges page.

Step 2 Click the My Prizes tab.

Step 3 In the Recipients area, click New Recipient.

The New Recipient dialog box is displayed.

Procedure

Step 1 Go to the Customers Recommended page.

Step 2 In the upper right corner, click Recommend User.

The Recommend User dialog box is displayed.

Step 3 Share the link or QR code displayed in the dialog box to open communities.

After a customer registers with HUAWEI CLOUD successfully using the link or QRcode, you can view the customer's information on the Customers Recommendedpage.

Establishing or canceling association between master and member accounts ofenterprises must be initiated by master accounts. After receiving an associationinvitation or cancelation request, a member account can view the permissions thatit has granted or is about to deny the master account in the Permissions sectionon the My Master Account page.

PrerequisitesThe enterprise master account has initiated an invitation or request on theOrganizations and Accounts page to establish or cancel association with themember account.

ProcedureIf you are invited for association as an enterprise member account or requested tocancel the association with an enterprise master account, you can accept or rejectthe invitation or request on the My Master Account page of My Account. Forexample, to accept an invitation for establishing association, perform the followingsteps:

Step 1 Go to the My Master Account page.

Step 2 Click Accept.

Then, you are associated with the enterprise master account for enterprisemanagement.
