Huaxing Halloween 2006Costume Contest

This year was full of all different kinds ofinteresting entries in the costume contest,including witches, wizards, monsters, fairy princesses, vampires, ghosts, and…well, sometimes we didn’t know what people were, but they sure looked cool! Fifteen winners were chosen for their creativity, effort, and individuality, but everyone’s neat and creepy ideas made the atmosphere true to the spirit of Halloween!

Our English teachers, along with our wonderful Teacher Maggie, worked hard to make a haunted house for the students to walk through during the week before Halloween. A haunted classroom, a bloody bathroom, the creepy touch of unexpected ghosts, scary sounds, and students eager for a chill all combined to make this a big success. Can we top it? Only next year will tell!
