Mrs. Ivah Babcock spent three days last week in the Margaret-ville hosi rtal following a gall bladder attack. Although still confined to bed, she is recovering slowly at the home of her son, Edson Babcock.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Babcock and son, Harold Jr., of North Bennington, Vt., spent Sunday at the home of Edson Babcock, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Babcock, well re-membered as former residents of Margaretville, were called here by the serious illness of his mother.

Manny McCann is able to be out again after an attack of the flti.

Mrs. Andrew Moldovan Jr. is at her parents' home recovering from a severe cold.

Mrs. Edd Todd is gaining after her recent serious illness,

Joseph B. Scudder is gaining slowly at his home following a severe illness.

George W. Murray has been ill for seevral days suffering from a virus infection and its sequelae; He is gaining but is still Confined to the house.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Murray and Sue ivere in Oneonta last Friday to call on Mr. Murray's mother and grandmother. Little Sue is recovering some of her former vigor; but is unable to attend school yet.

Mr, and Mrs. Dayton Searle and son, John, were in Rokbury last Friday to Gall on Mr. and Mrs. Jack Miller.

Virginia Todd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Ezra Todd, has been absent from school this week suffering from ear trouble.

Mrs, Marie Montanya and chil-dren spent the weekend in May-brook, N. Y.

This community, as others, is saddened by the death of Rev. A. Braisland, beloved pastor of the Arena Advent Christian church.

Miss Ruth Marks is visiting her sister, Mrs. Lloyd Mann, in Walton.

We are thankful to see the work being done on the Lloyd bridge. ^

Reports from the Tait and Borden families in Florida tell us that, though they had a few chilly days, in general the weather is sunny and warm.
