The Unemployment Rise, and the downward tilt in the American Economy are just the two major changes I'll discuss in this paper.

What the people think

37% of the country at the time didn't see a problem with the immigrants coming over, granted they underwent the legal process necessary for the privilege of citizenship.

Yet another 43% of the population felt there was a distinct and governmental binding difference between an immigrant and an illegal alien.

Illegal Immigration

Illegal immigration is defined as "as all foreign-born non-citizens who are not legal residents. Most unauthorized residents either entered the United States without inspection or were admitted temporarily and stayed past the date they were required to leave..."

Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is defined as "the illegal trade of human beings for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation or forced labor."

Rapid Rise

According to this article, in the year of 2006 there were 12 million documented illegal immigrants living in the United States. The effect taking on employment was incredible. The minimum wage was at a stand still because the government saw no need to raise it. If it appears that society can prosper with a raised price of living and a constant minimum wage, the government is able to pocket the extra monies for other projects and federal use. Illegal immigrants have a tendency to live with extended family under one roof.

Chopping Block

National minimum wage is $7.25 according to Minimumwage.com. Illegal workers tend to work somewhere between fifty cents and a dollar cheaper than the minimum wage. This saves the company money and tax cuts. With that being said, we'll all on the unemployment chopping block.

Whom is most affected?

With that being said those with little to no college education are those most affected by the illegal immigration issue.

57% of human trafficking victims are forced into prostitution strip clubs and all else dealing with the sexual underground trade of this country. Those who are forced to take up dignified jobs mostly search housekeeping and maid services. Jobs that will keep them out of the face of corporate America and with a stabilized environment and decent pay.

Tax Payers Burden

Most illegal workers are paid under the table. That means that millions of dollars go unaccounted for. Tax breaks for the companies that hire the works--and tax breaks for the illegal immigrants.

According to Davidson, 34.6% of the illegal immigrants that reside in the United States don't pay taxes due to the fact that they aren't registered in any systems as working citizens.
