ONSHORE AND INDUSTRIAL

AAE can also undertake large scale industrial HVAC installations in factories, power plants, hospitals, hotels and high rise buildings.

Chill rooms and freezersAAE’s work is not limited to air conditioning plant and equipment. We also supply and install large, ‘walk-

in’ chill rooms and freezers and industrial quality coldstorage for hotel and hospital kitchens and catering operations.

MAINTENANCE & SERVICING

New installations are a major part of AAE’s work but all such installations require on-going maintenance and support and we provide these services too.

AAE Service Engineers will also undertake routine servicing for domestic air conditioning in private homes.

ARCHITECTURAL

Architectural and all outfitting work for marine & offshoreOnce an HVAC System has been installed, the area(s) involved may need architectural and finishing work.

AAE can undertake the installation of ceilings and floors, wall coverings,installation of doors and windows, bathroom fixtures and fittings with associated plumbing, electrical wiring, lighting and power points. Where materials that require fire resistance to international standards are involved, AAE

can procure and install these also.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Policy StatementAAE is committed to providing and maintaining a working environment that ensures the health and safety of our staff and our sub contractors. We aim to prevent accidents and sickness by ensuring health and safety is at the centre of all activities. Everyone is encouraged to actively take part and support this policy.

PPEPersons working at site will be required to wear PPE that protects from injury. The use of personal protective equipment will be mandatory where

there is a foreseeable risk of a requirement to prevent injury.

Safety SignsAAE defines a safety sign as a visual alerting device which advises the observer of a potential hazard. The sign should therefore be eye catching and clearly convey the intended message. Safety signs may consist of signal word, a message panel and/or a pictorial symbol

displayed in specific colours to alert and inform observers to take precautionary or other appropriate action in the presence of potential hazards.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Work at heightAAE requires that work above 2 metres must be carried out without risk of injury. This requires that a safe place be provided for any work above this height such as scaffolding with safety rails and/or safety nets.

Lifting operationsLifting operations at the site work must be carried out in accordance with Local Orders. General lifting operations or equipment includes the use of a crane, lifting equipment

for supporting loads, gin wheels, work equipment operating under load, equipment use for raising of a load by persons at height, the suspension of structures or exhibition accessories and general lifting accessoriesused in the operation of a work task.

HEALTH & SAFETY

ScaffoldingAAE rules do not allow employees to be exposed to falls of 2 metresor greater at any time (see above). Persons involved in scaffolding work must be competent for the erection and design of scaffolding. It is the employer’s duty to ensure that the persons carrying out work are competent to do so and the manner of work is safe.

Electrical Supply SafetyAll electrical installations must comply with the following legal requirements: All installations must be constructed and maintained so as not to present a risk of danger. Equipment used by sub-contractors shall

also be maintained so as not topresent a danger.

Hot WorksWhere welding, gas burning, brazing, grinding and other operations generating heat and sparks are carried out; either during the build-up must that adequate precautions against damage

to property or injury to persons by radiation, fire or hot metal are taken.

Company First Aid BookletAll AAE Employees must attend a compulsory Health and Safety briefing and will be given a copy of the company First Aid booklet during induction.

Accident/Incident ReportThese report forms are to be used when reporting work related accidents, diseases, dangerous occurrences and gas incidents and reporter should be report situation to leader and safety section.
