Since our inception in 1998 we have grown considerably and withthe assistance of our parent company, Hydro Inc, we now form apart of the largest independent pump company in the world. We are not a pump OEM nor a distributor for any pumpmanufacturers. We operate totally independent which allows us toprovide un-biased reviews on any pumping equipment regardlessof the brand. We supply quality engineered spare parts utilisingour reverse engineering capabilities at our facility or on siteutilising our portable Romer arms and 3D scanner.

Description: The four pumps have suffered from severe cavitation since inception. The result being crackedand broken impeller vanes, resulting in vibration, a drop in efficiency and flow.Hydro Australia & Hydro UK performed a forensic analysis with the resultant findings being inlet backflowrecirculation as the root cause of the problem.Hydro redesigned the impellers & manufactured four complete rotating element assemblies to ISO 9001standards, installing during 2019 and 2020.

Description: Eraring PS has qty 8 - 1,850 kW, 4 stage, 100% duty & 100% standby, condensate extractionpump.The pumps had old design tapered roller bearing thrust bearings, failing too regularly.HA won the contract to redesign and upgraded to white metal combined thrust and journal bearing cartridge. During the project HA fully refurbished the pumps, laser scanned and reverse engineered many components,manufactured parts so a complete spare pump could be built up.
