What is Victor?

• Web-based multi-user video annotation tool with time sensitive comments

• Exercise platform

• Can be used as stand-alone tool or integrated to some CMS (Moodle module as proof of concept)

Main functionalities

• Importing media to Victor (uploading or linking)

• Video annotation

• Assignments using video comments

• Evaluation of submitted assignments

• Role based access rights– Both functions and content

• Support for single sign-on authentication (Shibboleth)

• Web browser: Firefox or Internet Explorer

• Media player required by content video:– RealPlayer– Quicktime Player– Windows Media Player– (Flash Player)

• Linux or other Unix server

• Shibboleth Service Provider (SP) software
